28 अगस्त से अब देश की निगाहें भारतीय पैरालंपिक दल पर है। इसके लिए 84 पैरा एथलीट्स का दल पेरिस पहुंच गया है। पैरालंपिक कमेटी के अध्यक्ष पद की नई जिम्मेदारी और भारतीय एथलीट्स के साथ पेरिस पहुंचे पद्मभूषण देवेन्द्र झाझरिया ने बताया कि भारतीय टीम इस बार अब तक का श्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करेगी और हम करीब 25 पदकों की जीत के साथ टॉप-20 देशों में शामिल होने के लक्ष्य के साथ वहां पहुंचे हैं। सभी खिलाड़ी पैरा ओलंपिक खेलों को लेकर बहुत उत्साहित हैं और हमें पूरी उम्मीद है कि हम 145 करोड़ भारतीयों की अपेक्षा पर खरे उतरेंगे। हमें समस्त भारतीयों की शुभकामनाओं की दरकार है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय खिलाड़ी एक नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित करते हुए अब तक का बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करेंगे।
