00:00Kyle Busch, so close here at Daytona, a runner-up finish, some big blocks there at the end.
00:04Was there anything you could have done on those final two laps?
00:06No, I don't know, just, you know, it seemed like we had a really good Cheddar's Camaro.
00:11The car was fast, and thanks to Randall and the guys for keeping us up front, giving us
00:14a fast car to do all that, but there at the end, just, for whatever reason, it seemed
00:18like the 20 lost the energy off a two and messed up the bottom lane, and I needed to
00:22get high in front of the 21, but I was like, man, the 20's a better friend, so I thought
00:27that that was going to be the play and the way to win, but they just got out in front,
00:31got too far out in front, not enough energy from behind with enough cars and everything
00:34to catch that gap back up fast enough to make a move, I mean, the run happened so slow,
00:40catching the 21 that he, I mean, Ray Charles could have blocked it, so, you know, it is
00:45what it is.
00:46Go ahead to Darlington, we know the mindset for this team for a few weeks has been win
00:50to get into the playoffs, seeing the spark of life here from this 8, how do you feel
00:53about next week?
00:54Yeah, I mean, we just got to go do our job, you know, we got to do everything right, and
00:58last year, the first race at Darlington, we ran really, really good, we had a good piece,
01:02ran in the top 5, top 3, a lot of it, the spring race this year, we struggled mightily,
01:07so it just depends, I guess, on what we bring there for a hot rod and go get them.
01:11Thanks, Kyle.
