Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a true sequel to its predecessor but developed and written in such a way that it is perfect for newcomers and longtime fans alike.

Diving back into the heart-pounding world of 15th Century Bohemia (Central Europe), Kingdom Come: Deliverance II picks up where its predecessor left off, thrusting players into the shoes of Henry, the steadfast son of a blacksmith, embroiled in a tumultuous tale of vengeance, betrayal, and self-discovery.

In this gripping sequel, players will traverse a meticulously crafted medieval landscape, from the humble confines of a blacksmith's forge to the grandeur of royal courts, all while navigating the treacherous currents of a kingdom torn apart by civil war.

Join Henry on his quest for redemption and revenge in 1403 Bohemia later this year and remember: "Audentes fortuna iuvat!"

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X on 11 February 2025.

00:30Welcome to the first look at the gameplay of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, a unique action
00:50RPG with a vast realistic open world and a grand cinematic story.
00:56As the young lad Henry, you will embark on an unforgettable journey through the beautiful
01:01but brutal world of the late Middle Ages.
01:09Our task for this quest is to find two men-at-arms, Ranjek and Adda, and recruit them into a rebellious
01:16task force of which Henry is part.
01:20With a bunch of talented criminals and violent drunks, you are about to unleash a guerrilla
01:25warfare against Sigismund, the usurper of the Bohemian throne.
01:31The first man on the list, Ranjek, was last seen in the nearby village of Bilani, playing
01:36dice in the tavern.
01:39Let's go ask the local gamblers about him.
01:52It's very early.
01:54The villagers are just waking up to their everyday chores, milking cows, harvesting
01:59crops or gambling Groschen.
02:14Nice fellas.
02:39They offered us a drink, and now they'll introduce Ranjek to us.
02:42No questions asked.
02:44Looking forward to meeting him.
02:47Seems like a feel-good quest.
03:13had nothing to play with.
03:15He swore he'd pay us back.
03:17Then we met here and played some more.
03:20Ranjek kept losing, but he didn't know when to stop.
03:25What did he do to him?
03:26When it was clear he had no way to pay us back, we started watching him to make sure
03:31he couldn't run away.
03:33He started whining about having to go take a dump, but we didn't want to watch him shit
03:39himself, so we let him go, and said we'd wait outside the shithouse.
03:44But the bastard got the idea to flee the other way.
03:48You mean through...
03:49But I reckon it was deeper than he thought, and he never came out.
04:00I'm gonna pull Ranjek out.
04:03Well, if you say so, but I wouldn't go in there for a golden pig.
04:09And when I find him?
04:12Just pull him out, and search him.
04:15That bow of his should fetch a decent price.
04:18Jump in then.
04:24The life of a true medieval adventurer isn't always about winning epic battles, saving
04:32damsels in distress, and forging your own destiny.
04:37Sometimes, it's about fumbling for corpses in a pile of shit behind the Balani tavern
04:44at 7am.
04:49Good, that must be him.
04:52Here we go.
04:53Finally.
04:54Poor Henry.
04:55This is disgusting.
04:56I don't think they deserve the bow after all.
05:03Don't be afraid, feel around!
05:09Hey, where are you going?
05:15Come on, do it!
05:16Find the bow!
05:20Now, bring us the bow!
05:24What about the...
05:25Not another step!
05:27God, what a stitch!
05:30Did you find the bow?
05:33Well, I have it, but I won't give it to you.
05:36With what I had to go through to find it, it's more of a consolation prize.
05:40Did you go mad from wading through shit?
05:44Give it to me.
05:45Come and get it.
05:46Fellas, hold your noses and beat him up!
05:52KCD2 aims to bring a unique blend of realism and fun into every part of the game.
05:59Combat included.
06:01Our fighting system is built on true medieval martial arts and wrestling techniques.
06:07Fluid, thrilling and tactical.
06:11As in real combat, movement is the key.
06:16As is equipping a good set of armour.
06:19Otherwise, you might find yourself in a pickle.
06:29I've been waiting for you!
06:40We should leave before someone notices the new corpses and starts investigating.
06:46What the... Did I step in shit?
06:49Oh, it's just you.
06:51I, um, didn't have the time to wash up.
06:54But I'll do that right away.
06:57As proven by this lovely lady, the world reacts to your behaviour, looks and even smell.
07:03Murder! I found a body!
07:05Time to vanish.
07:07In order to properly wash away our morning adventure,
07:11let's visit the best bathhouse around,
07:14which is located nowhere else than in the great city of Kuttenberg.
07:21The crown jewel of the Holy Roman Empire.
07:25The central bank of the kings.
07:28A place where people of all sorts come to pursue the bohemian dream
07:34and seek their fortune.
07:36A city filled with people to befriend or betray
07:40and all sorts of adventures and quests for you to uncover.
07:45MUSIC
08:16Don't cause any trouble, got it?
08:18God be with you.
08:30What can I do for you, you stinker?
08:37I need my wounds treated and my clothes washed.
08:40And then I'll have a hot bath.
08:42Great, but it'll cost you.
08:46I'll gladly pay you.
08:48You certainly won't regret it.
08:50My baths are first class.
08:56Now that we're all scrubbed up, let's take a stroll around the city.
09:01The world in KCD 2 doesn't wait for you to come and trigger the lives of its citizens.
09:07All inhabitants have their own day routines.
09:10Merchants, wenchers, soldiers or executioners.
09:15They all wake up, go about their work day
09:18and once that's finished, they go home to their families or to the tavern to their beers.
09:23Are you whistling at me? I'm not interested.
09:27KCD 2 aims to bring you a uniquely reactive and believable world.
09:32Whatever you do as Henry, it will have consequences and you will feel them.
09:38Have you haggled too long with the green grocer about the price of his cabbage?
09:43Well, now he's pissed off and you can forget about any sale.
09:47Throw in your favourite tat in front of a beggar kneeling by the church.
09:50Come back a minute later and you'll see him wearing it proudly.
09:54Or killed the local innkeeper's husband.
09:57She'll be crying in front of her house the next time you go there,
10:00making you feel really miserable.
10:03Across this demo, we'll play as a good-hearted lad.
10:06Apart from the ending though, spoiler alert.
10:11But the game allows you to push Henry towards any behaviour, even the most vile.
10:16Here's a quick example of what you'll be able to do to stir some mayhem in the city.
10:22Iron tools!
10:38Hey, did you forget your clothes somewhere?
10:42Aye, at your mother's place when I was shagging her.
10:52Ha! That was just a little appetiser.
10:56And now I'm hungry again.
10:58So I reckon it's time for another course.
11:00What do you say?
11:02And now, back to our good lad Henry.
11:11Please, good man, I need some help.
11:14A prime example of a random encounter.
11:16What is it you need?
11:18I lost my wallet.
11:21I lost something, and I can't find it for the life of me.
11:24My leather satchel.
11:26I put it down here for a moment, and now it's gone?
11:31Where did you put it?
11:32Somewhere around here.
11:34I made sure it wouldn't be in plain sight.
11:36At least I think I did.
11:40A moment's distraction is all it takes.
11:43Someone must have filched it from you.
11:45If I don't find it, I'm done for.
11:48Now hold on! Wait! What are you doing?
11:51Give it back right now!
11:55Cheeky bugger!
11:57Fifty groshen?
11:59That's worth at least a hug down the bathhouse.
12:01Enough!
12:06Had enough?
12:07Aye.
12:08Now hand it back.
12:10Everything you stole from me.
12:12Here.
12:14That's all of it. Can I go now?
12:16Piss off.
12:21You're acting like a child.
12:23Go and whistle somewhere else.
12:25With our groshen back in our pocket,
12:27let's go to see a merchant to stock up on food,
12:30sell Ranjek's bow,
12:32and head to the whereabouts of the second man on our list.
12:51RANJEK'S BOW
13:15Fresh bacon is good.
13:17But then again, it won't last too long in your inventory.
13:20For longer journeys, dried food is always better, as it doesn't spoil, and you don't risk getting sick from rotten bacon.
13:37Now that we're geared up with some food for our hungry Henry, let's proceed with our quest.
13:50The world in KCD2 is filled with places to discover. Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
14:20We should listen to Mr. Marlborough, and not provoke him. But given his menacing tone, he must be guarding something valuable. That's a promise we can't leave behind like that.
14:35Let's change our outfit to something more quiet, and drop the chainmail for a bit, so we don't rattle across the whole camp.
15:05Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
15:15Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
15:45Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
16:10Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
16:15Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
16:20Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
16:25Let's have a look at this old ruin, it might be something valuable.
16:30As you can notice, shields are very handy when you carry only a short weapon and have a free hand.
16:37But we cracked it right enough, let's try to dodge and attack him right after.
16:46There you go Henry!
16:48Yes, the weapons and shields can fall apart during combat, if they're damaged enough, so it always pays off to take good care of them.
17:17Victory at last!
17:19Now, what should we do with him?
17:22You're not going anywhere until I say so!
17:24Let me live!
17:28Give me everything you have, and I'll let you go.
17:31Alright, easy now, just let me go and I'll give you everything.
17:35You promised to free me, now keep your word!
17:38If you rewind a few moments back, you can even see he gave Henry his red shoes.
17:43But it could have been much worse for him.
17:51Fuck this, I'm not getting myself killed!
17:56There must be something of great value here.
18:02Fuck this, I'm not getting myself killed!
18:05Oh yes, save your schnapps.
18:09A classic period potion through which you save the game.
18:13This was worth the three kills, unlike the bow.
18:26Now, back to the recruiting campaign.
18:33The second man on the list, called Adder, was supposedly misbehaving last night around this village,
18:39and the gossip says he was caught with the butcher's wife.
19:05Good evening to you.
19:06I'm looking for someone, and the innkeeper said you might be able to help.
19:09Is that so? Who is it?
19:12A wandering man-at-arms. He's a foreigner, a Pole. They call him Adder.
19:18Who are you anyway? Some friend of his?
19:22Something like that. I just need to find him.
19:25Then you better hurry up. My old man wants to murder him.
19:31Why does he want to kill him?
19:33Because he's a stubborn fool who won't let me explain, and believes gossip over his own wife.
19:41Then calm down and tell me what happened.
19:45Nothing happened. I mean, not that the Pole wasn't interested.
19:50He was looking at me all night at the inn, but I avoided him.
19:56I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but notice. Is that bruise from the butcher?
20:02He doesn't mean it. He just doesn't know what he's doing when he's angry.
20:11Here you go. A potion for the pain. It should help you quickly.
20:18And where will I find your husband, Adder, and the rest?
20:22Outside the village, in the direction of Kuttenberg.
20:25There's a lone tree in the middle of the field. You can see it from a distance.
20:30He said that's where they take him, so that no one can see them.
20:34I better go and see your husband. The sooner it's over, the better.
20:39Hurry up, please.
20:41We should hurry up then. A violent mercenary and a jealous wife-beater behind the village can't end up well.
20:47What are you playing?
21:01Listen to me.
21:03All my life, I've been murdering and raping.
21:08I've burned churches more than I've confessed.
21:13Forgive me, Lord. Forgive me.
21:16Forgive me and let me castrate those worthless sons of bitches one more time!
21:24Shut up! No one can listen to your damn gibberish!
21:31Your wife will remember my Polish sausage for the rest of her life!
21:41I'll shut that gob of yours!
21:45I'll burn you and your mother in hell!
21:51Wait! Stop!
21:56What the hell is this?
22:00Leave him alone and untie him.
22:02Why would I do that? Do you know what that bastard did?
22:10If you're talking about the rumors in the village, it's all lies. Nothing happened.
22:15You don't know what you're talking about!
22:18That whoreson defiled my wife. My Eva, eh?
22:23He should be glad we're only gonna hang him. If I had my way, we'd castrate him as well.
22:31I saw that mark you left on your wife's face. That was no accident, was it?
22:38What are you on about?
22:39You'll raise your hand to a defenseless woman, but you need a whole gang to take on a man.
22:44Think you can insult me, do you? Shut your gob! Get him, lads!
22:52You fucking whoresons!
23:00Well, at least Eva can find someone nicer now.
23:15I feel quite hungry!
23:20I feel quite hungry!
23:51You've got a knack for this.
23:53How did you manage to hit that filthy whoreson?
23:57I wouldn't have done it myself.
24:08Why are you calling me a whoreson?
24:11Yes, that's me, Henry. I was sent by Dry Devil. He's waiting for you at the Devil's Den.
24:27As you say, in the Devil's Den. That's where all of us are supposed to meet.
24:42Go ahead. I'll meet you there later.
24:54What a day, Henry. You did good.
24:58Now, off to find a bed, a bite to eat and prepare for more tales to come.
25:11Good.
25:13This concludes our gameplay showcase of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
25:18Get ready for more exciting peeks into this medieval adventure on our journey towards release February 11th, 2025.
