00:05you had to pick up or all of the like the songs and the rap lyrics you had to you had to perform?

00:11I think the dialogue and all that was like pretty easy since I would just like read the lines like

00:18right before we shot like the scene. So yeah, I guess it kind of worked out. But yeah,

00:24I think it was a bit harder for the songs. Yeah, he's selling himself short. I mean,

00:30Manny came in not being a rapper, very talented musician, amazing singer and instrumentalist,

00:37but the boy had not rapped. And we basically put him through a boot camp. And overnight,

00:43he turned into this very dexterous MC. So it's all kudos to him. He kind of selling himself short

00:49right now. Yeah, no, it was very impressive. I was like, blown away by how awesome you guys were on

00:54screen. What was involved in that boot camp that you went through? I think it was like,

01:01didn't we just have like, two hours or something of like, just me and you on zoom?

01:07Oh, that's right. Yeah, we had some rehearsals and just being honest with each other and being

01:12supportive and sort of loving as collaborators and being like, hey, it could be better. Like,

01:17that was good. Do you think you can do better? And both of us sort of holding each other

01:23accountable and making it better and getting our blend right. It was it was really cool,

01:28Manny is a very willing participant, you know, he wants to do great. And that's that's what

01:33makes him special.
