00:00Thank you very much, Brother Nicolás Maduro, elected president of the Bolivarian Bloc of
00:07Venezuela.
00:08We take this opportunity to greet the president, head of state of our great family of the Bolivarian
00:18Alliance for the Peoples of our America, the People's Trade.
00:24We are meeting a few months after the 20th anniversary of the creation of ALBATICIPI,
00:32a moment when Latin America and the Caribbean are the theater of the struggle for power
00:45between those who love the region and those who want to preserve their privileges.
00:53We are at the moment where the threat of fascist threat is a reality.
01:02That is why this is the right moment to ratify our support to this mechanism of political
01:11consultation premised on the principles of solidarity, social justice, cooperation, and
01:19economic complementarity.
01:22It fostered the development of our peoples.
01:30The invitation to meet today reminds me the 20th summit held in Havana, Cuba, December
01:43the 14th, 2021.
01:49And I would like to quote the third item discussed in that meeting.
01:54We ratify our commitment to truly Latin American integration and Caribbean integration to face
02:05together the domination pretensions of the West hegemon and the growing threats to peace,
02:15stability in the region.
02:18At that moment, as today, there was a need to strengthen our unit to preserve the sovereign
02:29integration, which is one of the main pillars of this alliance.
02:38And as today, it is essential to work on the basis of our differences, encourage unity
02:47among diversity, protecting our sovereignty, territorial integrity, and to settle all situation
03:02through the proper means.
03:12This hybrid warfare that is deployed against us over the last month has been unleashed
03:19against Venezuela through a campaign of disinformation and discredit against the government of Nicolás
03:27Maduro, which is endangering the peace and stability of the Venezuelan people.
03:35These actions were intensified as a result of the presidential elections because of the
03:44hate narrative and a fake narrative that there have been problems with the election
03:55in order to undermine the people's will expressed in the polling boxes.
04:04There were elections on the 28th of July, and the result has been recognized by other
04:10parties of the opposition in Venezuela.
04:13And that is a democratic practice.
04:17These actions are far from being new, and none of our country are exempt from suffering
04:27them.
04:28Imperialism is determined to recover hegemony on their backyard.
04:38Therefore, our country rejects any attempt of destabilization that could endanger the
04:45peace and the development of the Venezuelan people and of any of the members of our alliance.
04:53Violence cannot become a political practice in our region and much less supplant the people's
05:01will expressed in the polling box.
05:07The intervention in the internal affairs of the countries endangering the institutions
05:14and the sovereignty of our countries, regardless of the origin, contribute to endanger our
05:28integrity and unity.
05:31And it also is a threat to the peace in the region.
05:37We received recently the decision made by the Venezuelan High Tribunal, which is validating
05:44the result of the polls.
05:47Venezuela, Bolivia welcomed the decision.
05:50We ratified the will of the majority of the people and the strength of the Venezuelan
05:55institutions.
05:57We take this opportunity as well to reiterate our congratulations to our brother, President
06:04Nicolás Maduro.
06:05And we are certain that the wisdom of the people and under his wise ruling, this will
06:12give rise to stability, peace, and prosperity to the sister nation of the Bolivar-Nepalito-Venezuela.
06:20We need to be very attentive on plans that have been devised to undermine the peace
06:29in Venezuela.
06:30It is not democratic to try to dictate from abroad what this country should do.
06:37We need to work together to foster the good life of our peoples in the region.
06:43In these difficult times, we need to make reality the words of José Martí in his essay
06:50Our America.
06:52It is time to march together and we need to walk in a very united fashion as the plants
07:10and the roots of our plants in these regions.
07:14And we will be walking together, as you say, brother.
