00:00More kind than Stephen King fans, I'll tell you that much.
00:02Really?
00:08What did working on the first movie,
00:10and specifically promoting it to getting out into the world,
00:13teach you guys about the Shazam fandom
00:15and how popular of a character?
00:16They're dedicated, and they're great.
00:18And they are very kind.
00:21More kind than Stephen King fans, I'll tell you that much.
00:24Really?
00:24Well, yeah.
00:27They seem nice, but don't buy it.
00:29Stephen King fans, they lean a little more
00:31on the angry side.
00:32Well, that's not maybe that's the truth.
00:33I'm just messing around.
00:35They're also very nice and nerdy, and I love.
00:37And I gel with most.
00:38Their passion.
00:38Every nerd.
00:39And I love passion.
00:40Sure.
00:40Being a nerd myself.
00:41So I understand that there's a lot of weight.
00:44Even as a consumer of movies and pop and culture and whatever,
00:48I do digest things.
00:51And I try to appreciate every form of storytelling.
00:56And with Shazam, I felt like it was received really well.
00:59The first one wasn't.
01:00And people say that it was a refreshing take
01:03on the brooding, steeled DC path that we've been on for a while.
01:11To see a superhero who's actually
01:12excited about being a superhero, rather than begrudgingly
01:15going out and putting on their cape
01:16and being like, got to save the world again.
01:18He's like, he's happy to do it.
01:19And it's so giddy and bubbly, and it's full of levity,
01:23and it's great.
01:24You're almost as cool as Superman.
01:25Almost.
