00:00Theft of a cafe in Quezon City was caught on camera. A customer's bag was stolen by thieves.

00:06This is James Agustin's report.

00:11The two men saw a motorcycle riding outside a cafe in Barangay Santa Monica, Novaliches, Quezon City.

00:18They stopped the motorcycle near a tree.

00:20The driver got out of the car and walked in front of the cafe as if he was having a match.

00:28After more than 20 minutes, the two men suddenly entered the cafe.

00:33They approached the two female customers and stole a bag.

00:38The victims were able to escape.

00:40One of them saw that his bag was thrown near the counter.

00:43The two men hurriedly left the area.

00:46According to the cafe employee, one of the two customers' bag was taken by thieves.

00:52The bag contained a cellphone and an expensive watch.

00:55We were surprised to see someone shouting.

00:58When we got out, the customer's bag was found inside the shop.

01:06The other bag was taken by a riding tandem.

01:12Before the crime, the thieves noticed that the motorcycle was thought to be broken,

01:17so they stopped outside the establishment.

01:19They were wearing helmets.

01:21At first, the helmet of one of the riding tandem was taken off before.

01:29Then, he went to the establishment.

01:32But we didn't see him.

01:35The criminal was arrested by the police,

01:37who is conducting a follow-up operation to find out the identity and catch the thieves.

01:43What we will do is add more cameras to the blind spots which they can hide.

01:49And maybe our staff will be more vigilant.

01:54They will be more aware of who is parking.
