Being in tech for as long as I have, I've seen so many, so many problems, everything from broken hard drives to lost data to stolen computers. And I'm still amazed to this day, after doing this for 30 years, why no one really takes care of their data.

00:26Thing is the data is the most important thing with your computer your computer you can go and buy another one
00:32Okay, it might be hard work to pay for it, but you can get another computer. You can use another computer
00:40But to have your data safe and secure is way more
00:46important than any
00:49Any device I could lose this
00:52Go and buy another one annoyingly
00:55But I know that the way I have it set up I can get everything back. This is what I do for my clients and
01:02I think it was last year where I worked
01:06With a client of mine who had her computer
01:10Stolen or lost it was on a train and she called me and she was completely distraught as to oh my god
01:18I've lost everything
01:19Well, I reminded her we did all the work that she actually hasn't lost anything go and get another computer
01:27She got another computer while she was at the store. I told her to log into her accounts and everything BAM. It was all there
01:35but the thing that people don't realize is that they
01:40People are so busy with their lives and so busy with their work. They don't really think about backups and
01:47Anything drastic happening until it happens when it happens
01:54I've had clients cry because they've lost photos. They've lost data. They've lost their client information. They've lost client work
02:02I've had people lose client work and
02:05It's um, it's crazy
02:08But there is light at the end of that horrible tunnel
02:12Listening to the ice cream van come round
02:16You're gonna hear that you'll probably hear that there is light at the end of this tunnel and that is to actually get
02:23your
02:25Devices and data safe and secure in such a way where you don't have to worry about it. And again, this is what I do
02:34Sounds like a sales pitch now, but this is basically what I do
02:38I help people to make sure that this stuff is secure simply they can work easily, etc, etc
02:45So, yeah, just make sure you have your stuff backed up. It's the weekend
02:51So, please take this time to make sure and ensure that everything is secure and backed up. And if not
