00:00And it almost is surprising DRS we did not start our conversation with the
00:08Buccaneers a team that has won this division three consecutive years first
00:12two with Tom Brady but last year followed suit for a third year in a row
00:17under Baker Mayfield resigned this offseason they extend Mike Evans they
00:23give the bag to Antoine Winfield jr. and Tristan worse we should be optimistic
00:29about this Bucs team no but the win total is just seven and a half how come
00:35because I just don't think we're buying into this Buccaneers team he said they
00:39won last year to see that they won the division they want a playoff game well
00:42the playoff game was against a banged-up Eagles team that was already off the
00:45rails at that point and they won a bad division overall the one thing I do like
00:49though is I think Baker Mayfield in that offense man it's going to be able to
00:52score some points this year Evans Godwin you draft McMillan that's gonna be fun
00:56which means he might have a higher strike zone of touchdown passes but also
00:59more interceptions which could lead to more points for the opposing teams also
01:03keep in mind we loved what we saw at a Baker Mayfield unceremoniously basically
01:08chucked out of Cleveland winds up in Carolina finds his way down to Tampa
01:12eventually as a starting quarterback but the architect of that offense was Dave
01:15Canales and you're saying okay you know what let's see what we could do in a
01:18year or two well he's no longer there at that point same thing when I take a look
01:21at a guy like a Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia who had Shane Slyken who
01:24was phenomenal as his offensive coordinator with a great offense on the
01:28way to the Super Bowl didn't all that good great look all that great last year
01:31then you might say banged up you know shoulder banged up leg couldn't run as
01:35well the Eagles were just kind of a mess throughout the entire season should I
01:38say late in the season but that still means he lost his offense corner didn't
01:42perform are we expecting that at a Baker Mayfield not necessarily but all of
01:46those good vibes because you know we talked about it Ben if you equate the
01:49situation to Tampa why we so high on Detroit Ben Johnson still gonna be their
01:53offensive coordinator the same thing as we take a look at the Texans here why do
01:56we love them so much because the offense look great last year and Bobby Slowick
01:59is back again maybe you would have a different outlook or should I say I
02:02would have a different outlook on Tampa Bay's offense if Canales had stayed in
02:06Tampa Bay but he's not I still think that offense is going to be able to move
02:09I still don't think they'll be able to run the football all that effectively
02:12which should lead to a lot more touchdown passes and interceptions as I
02:16stated here they're a decent football team I just don't think they're as good
02:20as the Atlanta Falcons who last year were basically just missing a quarterback
02:23now they got their quarterback and they added weapons they're better than Tampa
02:27is but I still expect Tampa to be serviceable around that eight to nine
02:31win mark but I don't think they have enough gas in the tank to win the
02:34division this year Ben
