00:00I'm a bit speechless to be honest yeah it's it's a massive honor and totally
00:10unexpected yeah I've kind of been a little bit flawed to be honest yeah yeah
00:19yeah yeah no it was actually kind of funny I'd probably pulling and I'll call
00:29we co-coached this year so I could kind of do a bit of both bit of playing and a bit on the bench
00:35just to try and yeah sort of take a step back and I end up I haven't missed a game which
00:41in previous years I can't remember the last time I got through a season without an injury so
00:46I probably should have said thanks to my physio Ritesh at hands-on clinic he's been absolutely
00:51amazing if anyone old out there that wants to get through a good footy or nerdy season
00:56go see him because he's he's the one that's kept me together this year
00:59with no issues whatsoever so I'm very thankful to him
01:06yes definitely yes yes 40 yeah
01:12um I suppose yeah as a oldie looking looking over at all the young girls um it is pretty
01:18rewarding but I'd say my maturity levels probably isn't aren't like a 40 year old um
01:23no yeah I get along pretty well with all the younger girls um I suppose maybe coaching them
01:28a couple of years ago helped as well but um no I don't I don't feel like I'm older to be honest um
01:34obviously experience comes with all the years that I've played but
01:37um yeah no yeah I don't really feel that much older to be honest yeah I probably look at
01:43you talk about coaching girls how does it you know compare to being on the sidelines to
01:48coaching to being on the court yeah um that's a good question because um I do love coaching
01:55from the side but um like I sort of just said before it is it of which I didn't think it would
02:00be the case but it is a lot easier to do it on the court so you can sort of set by example um
02:06obviously I can't shoot and I can't defend but um mid-court side of things um it's a lot easier
02:12to sort of show how easy it is than having to try and explain it um off the court so if that
02:18makes sense yeah nah it's yeah I've really enjoyed it to be honest yeah um yeah I don't know I'm kind
02:28of a little bit blown away now I'd yeah like I don't know I really don't know I'd like I don't
02:34feel like I have to stop like my body is completely fine um yeah I don't know I'd say
02:40yeah see how I feel in six months and see what brings yeah
02:47oh of course of course it would like winning something like this is such a reward and um
02:53I suppose you have to um just let it soak in and be respectful to the league if they think that
02:59you're good enough to play then I suppose hanging up the the netty shoes I don't know
03:04that's probably makes it a little bit harder to do yeah
03:12oh yeah Sunday was a was a bit of a shambles but that's okay that's what it's all about like I was
03:18just saying it's um yeah everyone wants it as much as each other and it's just who wants it
03:22more on the day so um and I haven't actually been in that position before so that really hurt um
03:27it's taken a while not much sleep the last few nights but um that's what comes with the coaching
03:31role um you have to cop the knocks um and we've been pretty lucky the last few years so um yeah
03:38I can't really complain like yeah we've had three grand final appearances in in what four years now
03:43so um yeah I've got to be very appreciative of what I've got yeah no thank you very much
