00:00The incident happened near the IWK pipe.
00:05The pipe was broken by the roadside drainage.
00:14We have seen the situation.
00:17I have been informed that this incident happened because of the IWK pipe.
00:23There is a problem inside the pipe.
00:25The ground around this area is rough.
00:30This caused the incident and caused the drainage to break.
00:37This will be taken immediate action by the DPKL and the authorities.
00:45To ensure that this pipe is repaired as soon as possible.
00:50The IWK pipe needs to be repaired first.
00:56Then the surrounding area.
00:59Inshallah, in three weeks, we will be able to fix the problem.
01:05It's a rainy season. This is the third sinkhole we've seen in the past week.
01:09Is Kuala Lumpur still safe?
01:11Inshallah, it is still safe.
01:14But as I said earlier, we really have to be very careful.
01:17In the area where we have the sinkhole, which is at Masjid India.
01:22That area, PDRM is also taking care of it.
01:30We don't allow the public to enter that particular area.
01:34But other parts, inshallah. So far, I think it's still safe.
01:38What is the estimated age of the sinkhole in KL?
01:42Is it time for us to do a major repair?
01:48As far as we know, most of the developments in Kuala Lumpur,
01:54including the drainage, have been going on for more than 30 years.
01:57So we really need to do an integrity test.
02:04For all the drainage systems in Kuala Lumpur.
02:09We will be working with Petra, IWK and PPP.
02:16Is it related to any delayed scheduled maintenance?
02:20Which means they were meant to be done earlier, but they're not.
02:23I cannot confirm that. I really have to see the schedule from TPKL.
02:28When was the last inspection done?
02:30Normally we have a yearly inspection.
02:33It's a must. We have to do that in TPKL.
