00:00So Ryan, obviously a good result tonight, a home win here against Ballymallard and how
00:05important was it I suppose to get those three points on the board?
00:07Yeah, look it's obviously been in the back of us, we've drawn two and lost one in the
00:12opening game of the season so all the boys obviously were really happy to get off the
00:17mark and finally get three points in front of the fans of course as well.
00:21And three goals in as many games for you now, obviously you're a new player at the club,
00:24you're trying to obviously impress as a striker and is that something you're happy with the
00:27fact that you have settled in and you're in a good run of form at the minute?
00:30Yeah, look we've worked hard for the goals as well, it hasn't come comfortably so look
00:36that's the job of a striker, we have to score goals so three in three and three in four
00:41games eventually as well so really happy with that, yeah.
00:45And a good win for the fans as well, you can see what it meant to them, you're obviously
00:48only new but it's been a long time since you've won a home league match but it was great for
00:51them wasn't it to get this result?
00:53Yeah it wasn't obviously pretty, we didn't play as good as we probably could have but
00:58we were really gritty in it and seeing how we were celebrating with them at the end,
01:04you can see how much it definitely means to them.
01:07Is it satisfying to win a game like that where you had to grind it out, they did make it
01:11tougher at times but you probably showed the word you used was gritty, you showed that
01:14determination that you were going to get over the line?
01:17Yeah I think you would put it the other way around, more if you had drawn it, it would
01:21have been gutting like so to get the 1-0 win in that fashion, the boys are obviously
01:27going to be hurting as well after that there the night they travel or covering quite a
01:31lot of distance so yeah it feels really good after a 1-0 win.
01:35Now you've had four league games, do you feel in terms of chemistry, new players coming
01:38in, players you haven't played with before, do you feel like that's starting to build
01:41with the boys?
01:42Yeah it's definitely important, on and off the pitch we've probably grown quite a bit
01:47together so you can see that's coming along.
01:50And then now Newington on Saturday, you've got a win on the board, is this in terms of
01:53building on that and continuing what you started tonight probably?
01:56Yeah exactly that, it's not a far travel for me seeing as I'm from Larne Lake so it's a
02:00five minute travel down the road so it's handier for me and the other boys will be looking
02:05forward to it and wanting to build off that 1-0 win.
