00:00the question that all sports fans I think have wanted to know and now LeBron James has finally
00:05answered. LeBron James and his son Bronny James are both on the Los Angeles Lakers. So, Harvey,
00:10what happens when they're both playing during a game? Does Bronny call LeBron dad? Dad or daddy?
00:18LeBron was on his Undisputed show and he was on the shop at the shop and he answered that
00:26very question. Have you thought through, not relationship because you'll always be his dad,
00:31he'll always be his son, but what's your working relationship? Is he going to call you dad at
00:34practice in the locker room? No, we already laid that, no, we already laid, no, he can't,
00:38we already laid that down. He cannot call me dad in the workplace, all right? Once we leave out
00:44of the practice facility and the gates close, I could be dad again in the car, we ride together,
00:49at home I could be dad. No, he got to call me like two, three, or Bron, or, you know,
00:57go if he wants to, it's up to him, I mean, it's up to him, but he cannot, we cannot be running down
01:03the court and he'd be like, dad, push the ball up, dad, come on, no, you cannot do that. It is funny,
01:11but you help me out here. Yeah. It is kind of how Bronny got there. Look, there are a lot of,
01:18there are a lot of people out there, Harvey, who do not believe that Bronny James is an adequate
01:23NBA player. He's not good enough, but they think he's only in the NBA and he's only on the Lakers
01:27because his dad is this legendary figure. And had the power to leverage that. Right, right.
01:33So guys, this is obviously not unprecedented. We've seen Ken Griffey Sr. with Ken Griffey Jr.
01:38playing in the same team before the Mariners back in the 1990s. Ken Griffey Jr. called dad,
01:44dad on the field. He said at times he would be yelling from the on deck circle, get a hit dad,
01:50and all his teammates would laugh. So it is interesting that LeBron is going so hard the
01:54other way on this and choosing not call him son. The one difference I'd say is Ken Griffey Jr. was
01:58an all-time legendary, great player. A lot of people don't think Bronny belongs. No, no,
02:01but that's exactly right. That I don't think LeBron wants to accentuate the fact that it is his son
02:07because everybody is already saying in L.A. his son is on the Lakers because of his dad. Right.
02:14And I don't think you want to keep calling him dad because of that. I don't think so. I think,
02:17and you brought this up this morning, it's hard to remember that. Like you can call him dad when
02:21you're outside of the gates from the practice facility. It's like you've got to stop calling
02:24him dad altogether. I think you've got to stop calling him dad altogether. It's too hard. But
02:28that was so interesting that he said goat. I thought that was so interesting. I don't know
02:34he was joking, but maybe just that much. Hey, Antoine Houston here. I don't think that this
02:41is a bad idea because he already knows all the adversity that his son is facing and he knows
02:46that he has a target on his back. So I don't think that it's a bad idea that he calls him Bronny or
02:51that he calls him 2-3. Like I said, I wouldn't want to call my mom mom if I was working with
02:56her. I wouldn't want to call my dad, hey dad, when I was working with him. So I think it's a good
03:00idea.
