00:00So, um, the red socks one last night, finally, I mean, their season's been going down the
00:10drain, but they're four out of that wild card. Do you still, and does people in Boston still
00:18believe that they can write the ship and get a wild card at the very least? Cause that's
00:24all they're playing for. Well, listen, as you well know, Boston is a city filled with
00:30optimists. So clearly everyone is thinking high on the red socks and their chances that
00:37nevermind making the playoffs as a wild cards, a world series or bus. No, I mean, look, I,
00:42I personally am not high on their chances at this point. Now, if you would talk to me
00:46right around the trade deadline, a few weeks back, I would have sung you a different song,
00:51but obviously things have gone South of late and they've really failed to get out of their
00:55own way. The pitching has been a problem. And like you said, they're sitting with this
00:59deficit with the third and final wild card spot in the American league and clearly multiple
01:05teams in front of them as well. Is there time? Sure. You know, we're talking about roughly
01:1030 games remaining in the regular season. They are capable of making a run. It's just,
01:15you're asking a lot in terms of knocking one of these teams out that is simply playing
01:20better than them in front of them. It's not going to be easy, impossible. No, but not
01:25going to be easy. I just don't think unfortunately they're built for it right now and, and shame
01:28on them because they could have done more at the deadline to address some of that. And
01:32they obviously could have done much more coming into the season to set themselves up better
01:37for success. Uh, not too differently from a team in Foxborough. That's getting ready
01:41to kick off at season a little bit.
