00:00You were born with everything a boy could want
00:17Money and position, you got style and fame
00:21Daddy always buys you all the things you want
00:25But your daddy can't get it worth enough to buy my name
00:29Won't you open up your eyes, I said I won't be imprised
00:33All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
00:38All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
00:46All your money, all that money, might buy a little spot honey
00:50All your money, dirty money can't buy me
00:55As a little boy you didn't play with toys
01:01Servants who came running seemed to bring you joy
01:05It's too bad I can't be at your beck and call
01:09My pride keeps me from being just a mindless toy
01:13You think life's a game, but our rules are just the same
01:18All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
01:23All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
01:32All your money, all that money, might buy a little spot honey
01:36All your money, dirty money can't buy me
01:48All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
02:17All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
02:24Can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
02:30All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
02:36All your money can't buy me, can't buy me, can't buy me
02:40A group pretty well known in Sydney, the Affair
02:43Money can't buy me, carry you, well thank you, how are you?
02:46Welcome to this end of the television set
02:48Thank you
02:49How long has the group been in formation as it is now?
02:51About eight months
02:52And you've got the sound you want?
02:54I think so, it's sort of a struggle to find your bag as we call it
02:58But you know, you think you find it every month
03:00So this month we think we've found it
03:02Fine, who are the boys in the group with you?
03:04Tony on drums, James on lead and Mike on bass
03:07Now what about material? Are you writing your own?
03:10No, not as yet, I write tunes and Michael writes words
03:13But they don't go together
03:15That's a hang up
03:16Yes
03:17What are you doing about it? Still working hard now?
03:19No, we sort of drift around and sort of look at one another
03:22And think well why can't you fit with me and sort of nothing ever happens
03:26Well it's a pretty fine sound what you have there now
03:28Thanks very much
03:29Is it your first single?
03:30No, as this group it's our first single
03:32But we have put down one before with a very earlier group called the Affair
03:35Fine, how do you see the scene at the moment personally?
03:37Is there plenty of work for you?
03:39There is really, the best advantage for a group is to travel
03:42Just to each state I think because everyone sees you and there's varied work which is good
03:46And you're doing just that?
03:47We're starting to now which we're very glad to be doing
03:50Well congratulations, I like the record
03:52Thanks
03:53Hope it goes well for you
03:54Thanks very much
03:55You come back and see us soon?
03:56Oh I'd love to
