00:04What's the first thing to do when in Venice?

00:09With the marvelous and captivating beauty of the city,

00:13it's highly recommended that you wander through the streets and alleys

00:17for as long as you please.

00:20St. Mark's Square is certainly one of the most popular

00:25and it's especially beautiful when there are little people in it.

00:30Early morning or late in the evening,

00:32you might find the square to just a few people.

00:35Venice also isn't quite known for its nightlife,

00:38so it's perfect to appreciate the quiet

00:41and be at peace with your lonesome in this city.

00:45Restaurants close early and the huge crowds disappear.

00:50Next thing you should try is the Grand Canal Tour.

00:54Aside from walking around Venice,

00:56it's through this tour that you should also see the city.

01:01The Grand Canal only has a few bridge crossings

01:05and taking a ride on one of the city's water buses is definitely a must-try.

01:10Sit back, relax and enjoy the view.

01:15A lot of tourists also frequent the Murano Island.

01:28Then, another island in the Venice Lagoon is worth the trip.

02:40so light and cheery and will surely leave a smile on your face.

02:46Torcello Island is another,

02:48which gives you the escape to nature you might need.

02:52It's the place to go if you want to escape from the crowds,

02:56the tourists and the busy city.
