गुरुवार को राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस के मौके पर बोलते हुए ओलंपिक के गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट हॉकी खिलाड़ी हरविंदर सिंह चिम्मी ने कहा कि आज ध्यानचंद जी का जन्मदिन है। जो नेशनल स्पोर्ट्स डे के रूप में मनाया जाता है और यह एक बड़ी अच्छी बात है। ध्यानचंद जी का पूरे वर्ल्ड में नाम है, उन्हें हॉकी का जादूगर कहा जाता है। ध्यानचंद फाउंडेशन एक बड़ा अच्छा स्टेप ले रहे हैं कि अलग अलग खेल करते हैं। विंटर में इन्होंने एक ऑल इंडिया लेवल पे स्पोर्ट्स किए थे जिसमें अलग अलग आयु वर्गों के लोग आए थे, बड़ा अच्छा माहौल था वहां पर।
