00:00Ah, Mac, it's a beautiful day to go out in a boat.
00:06That it is, my old friend.
00:08We spent many a happy day out on the sea catching fish.
00:12Yes, the fishing business was happy days for us.
00:16Indeed it was.
00:18Now here we are, retired, and what are we doing?
00:22Going fishing, what else?
00:27Only now we can choose to go when the weather is sunny and pleasant.
00:31Remember the times we shipped out in the rain and the storms?
00:34I remember too well.
00:36Several times we nearly lost the boat and drowned in the storms.
00:40In that case, then, we could have been Jesus' disciples.
00:44We could. I remember that Bible story well.
00:51I wonder where we'll go today, James.
00:53With Jesus, you never know what will happen.
00:56Yes, Peter, it's wonderful to be with Jesus and see how he helps people.
01:00And there are plenty of people. The crowds are growing larger every day.
01:04Wherever Jesus goes, they go.
01:07Look, Jesus is getting into that boat. Let's follow him.
01:12Let's go across to the other side.
01:14Yes, Lord.
01:17Look, John, Jesus has fallen asleep.
01:20He must be tired from all the traveling and preaching.
01:23He's healing people. He's amazing. Let him rest. We'll wake him when we get there.
01:28Look at that sky, full of angry clouds.
01:31These storms seem to come out of nowhere.
01:34Watch out, John. Don't fall overboard.
01:37This storm's getting worse.
01:38Quick, turn the boat. We'll be swamped.
01:40I'm trying.
01:41It's no use. The storm is too great.
01:44We're going to end up at the bottom of the lake if this keeps up.
01:47Where's Jesus?
01:49He's okay, isn't he?
01:50You won't believe this. He's still asleep.
01:52Asleep? In this storm? We need his help.
01:56Lord, Lord, wake up. We're all going to drown.
01:59What is Jesus doing?
02:01He's just standing there, looking at the storm.
02:04Quiet. Be still.
02:09What happened? Where is the storm? It's disappeared. The waves are still.
02:16The storm stopped all of a sudden.
02:20Jesus told the storm to stop, and it did.
02:24What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the waves obey him?
02:30Why were you afraid, my friends? Don't you believe in me?
02:35Aye, Mac. Now that's a sea story, that is.
02:39But a true one, as we both know.
02:41The Lord Jesus has been with us all the times we were in terrible storms in our fishing boat.
02:47He's been with us when we had troubles in life, too, Mac.
02:50He calmed our hearts in the storms of life.
02:53And he's still with us, and everyone else who loves him.
02:57Praise the Lord.
02:58Amen.
