00:06Fortunately, the tune is changing a little bit.
00:11The DEA has come forward in the last couple of days
00:14and released a statement confirming the presence
00:16of the Trinidad and Tobago gang.
00:18The Denver Police Department just issued a statement
00:20yesterday while they are still saying that they're unaware
00:23of any apartment complexes that have been taken over.
00:26We at least have a first step that they have acknowledged
00:29that the Trinidad and Tobago gang is in Denver,
00:31as well as the city of Aurora.
00:33If you go on their social media pages
00:35and look at the statement that they released yesterday,
00:37they are now confirming the presence
00:39of the Trinidad and Tobago gang.
00:41So this gang has been confirmed.
00:43Their presence is confirmed.
00:46I think this was something in the beginning.
00:49No municipality wants to admit
00:51to something like this, right?
00:53But that's where it just becomes,
00:55you're playing politics with people's lives.
00:57And when I found out this was happening
01:00and I knew that there was Americans trapped
01:02under this gang control, living in these conditions,
01:06meanwhile, watching budgets be slashed to house and feed
01:12and educate the migrants that are showing up,
01:16nobody is helping the Americans.
01:18Nobody is helping the American citizens
01:20that are trapped in these complexes.
01:21And it is very real.
01:23And once I was able to safely move this family
01:27out of one of these complexes yesterday,
01:29I was able to get this video footage out.
01:32What I've seen at several of these complexes now,
01:36they've spray painted Venezuela all over the buildings.
01:41There are broken windows.
01:42There's trash everywhere.
01:46It's really a grim scene at these apartment complexes.
01:52And what you see at any given time
01:56is men, and I've really only seen men,
02:02walking around with guns.
02:04They are actively patrolling these properties.
02:06They have completely taken them over.
02:09They have beaten up any staff
02:12that was on site of these complexes.
02:15They have beaten them up.
02:16So there is no staff.
02:18It is absolutely these gang members
02:21controlling these apartment complexes.
02:25And yesterday I made sure to go in
02:29with several police officers helping and watching.
02:33But I'll tell you what,
02:34before I even had this family
02:36completely moved out of their apartment,
02:38these folks were already fighting
02:40over this apartment complex.
02:42And they were starting to move stuff in
02:44before we had even completely moved this family out.
