00:21according to the health department,

00:23there are still many who do not fully understand the disease.

00:27I asked some Filipinos what they know about MPOX.

00:31It's like a lump of water.

00:33It hurts the skin.

00:35And how does it get infected?

00:37In the saliva or when it gets stuck.

00:40In the air.

00:41That's why the health department issued some clarifications.

00:47It is not airborne and can only be obtained through long-term skin-to-skin contact.

00:52To avoid it,

00:54you must always clean your body

00:56and disinfect or clean the possible contaminants of the said virus.

01:02It kills the soap and washing.

01:04If you are going to a public place,

01:06wear long sleeves or jacket for additional protection.

01:11Avoid touching animals that may have a virus such as mongoose.

01:16Healthcare providers such as hospitals are obligated

01:20to let the DOH know immediately

01:22those who have been diagnosed or confirmed with MPOX

01:25within 24 hours.

01:28During their close contact,

01:30they need to monitor or self-monitor

01:33the possible symptoms

01:35within 21 days after the last contact.

01:40Because to be infected,

01:43you need to have a blister.

01:45Passengers are also obligated to enter and leave the country

01:49if they have rashes or pimples

01:53or blisters in the last 30 days before the trip.

01:58This is included in the travel form.

02:01Tell the truth and don't be afraid
