00:04Today I'm going to be showing you how you can make a sex on the beach cocktail at home
00:09using just a couple ingredients and utensils.
00:13So first of all, ingredient wise, you're going to need a bottle of peach snaps,
00:19a bottle of vodka, orange juice and cranberry juice.
00:25And of course, it's always nice to have some ice to make sure your cocktail is lovely, cold and refreshing.
00:31Utensils wise, you don't need a lot but I would recommend a cocktail shaker
00:35just to make sure you are really shaking up that cocktail to make it as delicious as possible.
00:42And just for a bit of niceness, it would be great to have a fancy cocktail glass.
00:46So what I'm going to do is I'm going to open up my cocktail shaker and pop all the ingredients in.
00:53I'm going to first start by putting in a couple of blocks of ice into the cocktail shaker.
00:58Next I like to pour my alcohol in first so I'm going to pour a little bit of vodka.
01:02I will say I'm not doing any measurements, this is just the most simple way to make a sex on the beach.
01:08Next I'm going to pour in the peach snaps.
01:11Now for the juices which give the sex on the beach cocktail that nice fruity taste,
01:15we're going to start with the orange juice.
01:18Although I'm not using any measurements for the alcohol or the juice,
01:21I am putting a larger quantity of juice in than I am alcohol.
01:24And the final ingredient, the cranberry juice.
01:26Once everything is in the cocktail shaker altogether, you should get a colour that is like an orangey pink.
01:33A lot of sex on the beach cocktails can differ in colour but for me,
01:38that is when I know that I have my perfect mix when it's an orangey pink sort of colour.
01:43Now it's time to shake it up. I will say if you are using a cocktail shaker,
01:46I have made the mistake before of not putting the lid on tight enough and it goes everywhere.
01:51So definitely make sure you are putting your lid on tight before giving it a shake.
01:56Time to shake it up.
01:58Once your cocktail is nice and shaken up in the cocktail shaker,
02:02it's time to pour it into your cocktail glass.
02:05But before we do that, we're going to add a few more blocks of ice into the glass
02:10to make sure it is even more cold and refreshing than before.
02:14Now for the pouring.
02:15And just to make sure that these steps are correct,
02:18I'm going to give it a taste to make sure it tastes like a sex on the beach that you would get from a cocktail bar.
