00:24He is the first case of MPOX in the Calabar Zone and the 14th confirmed case in the country since July 2022, according to the DOH.

00:44According to infectious disease expert Dr. Rod Jean Solante, household transmission occurred.

01:04The transmission of MPOX is through close and intimate contact, including touch and sex.

01:18To avoid it, the body must always be clean and the items that may be contaminated with the said virus should be cleaned.

01:26If going to a public place, wear long sleeves or jacket for additional protection.

01:32Also, avoid touching animals that may have a virus such as mongoose.

01:377 to 21 days before the symptoms of the disease come out.

01:52The World Health Organization believes that there should be an immediate MPOX testing to avoid the spread of the disease.
