Warner Bros. Games debuted a gameplay walkthrough trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, giving fans an in-depth look at the game’s PvP (player versus player) Mode, customization, skill tree, Bbroom upgrades, Career Mode and more.   In Career Mode, players begin their Quidditch careers at the Weasley Burrow in the Garden Cup, then take on the challenge of the Hogwarts House Quidditch Cup, where they’ll choose their Hogwarts house and face off against familiar characters such as Cedric Diggory and Draco Malfoy. From there, players will represent one of the three great wizarding schools, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Durmstrang Institute, or Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the renowned Triwizard Schools Quidditch Cup. Finally, players will take on the ultimate Quidditch challenge on the global stage competing in the Quidditch World Cup.   Players can tailor their playstyle by earning skill points to boost their stats and learn special moves. They can also upgrade their brooms to improve maximum speed, agility, and more. All game content is only earnable through in-game progression and cannot be purchased with real-world currency.   Featuring iconic wizarding world locations, characters, and references that fans will love, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions highlights the rush of flying across legendary arenas as either a Beater, Chaser, Keeper or Seeker in a variety of modes including solo play, competitive multiplayer and online co-op. From backyard battles in the Weasley Burrow to high-stakes showdowns at the Quidditch World Cup, players will soar into legendary arenas playing as - or against - iconic characters such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Cho Chang and many others. And as a special gift, players who own Hogwarts Legacy will receive the Bonus Legacy Pack* when they download Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and connect to their WB Games account.   Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions releases on Sept. 3, 2024 for the Digital Standard and Deluxe Editions on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). 00:04Your next chapter in the Harry Potter universe takes flight

00:07as you're finally able to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Quidditch.

00:12Whether you're a solo player who wants to tour iconic magical locations

00:16while flying alongside your favorite characters in career mode,

00:20a social player who wants to wrap your house and play with your friends in online co-op,

00:25or a gamer looking to prove yourself against the world in multiplayer mode,

00:30Quidditch Champions has something for everyone.

00:33And you won't need Malfoy money to enjoy hours of Quidditch Champions

00:37because there are no microtransactions in the game.

00:43Those of you who are fans of Quidditch will find all the roles and rules here you're familiar with,

00:48though there are a few differences to encourage fun, balanced gameplay.

00:52Take to the sky as the classic Quidditch positions Chaser, Seeker, Beater and Keeper,

01:00each with their own unique playstyle.

01:03Each successful goal a Chaser scores through the hoops is worth 10 points,

01:07and if your Seeker manages to catch the snitch before the opposing team,

01:11they'll earn 30 points, enough to recover if your team is trailing behind

01:16or pull further ahead if you're in the lead.

01:19Score more points than your opponents by the end of the match,

01:22or will be the first to score 100 points and you'll win.

01:30You'll start your career in none other than the Weasley Borough,

01:33home to some very familiar players.

01:36Here you'll join up with the Weasley family for a friendly day of Quidditch,

01:40competing in their own homegrown Garden Cup.

01:44Once you've secured the Garden Cup, it's time to start a proper career

01:49and your road to the World Championship.

01:52Three additional cups are available to play, either solo or cooperatively,

01:56with up to three players online.

01:58First you'll head to Hogwarts to compete in the annual Quidditch House Cup.

02:02Choose to play as Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin,

02:06donning the robes of your chosen house,

02:08and playing head-to-head against famous players from the other houses,

02:12including the likes of Cho Chang, Cedric Diggory, Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter himself.

02:18After you've settled the clash of the houses, it's time to compete at the school level.

02:23In the Triwizard School Quidditch Cup, you can choose to represent

02:27one of the three greatest wizarding schools in the world.

02:30Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Durmstrang Institute

02:34or Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

02:37Finally, with enough determination, your career will bring you to the global stage

02:42in the biggest Quidditch event of all, the Quidditch World Cup.

02:47Choose to represent one of 16 nations and face your most challenging opponents yet,

02:52in front of a massive sea of roaring fans.

02:55If you can make it to the finals, you have a chance at what most witches and wizards only dream of,

03:01lifting the World Cup in the ultimate victory.

03:06But getting there won't be easy.

03:09Fortunately, the further you progress in Quidditch Champions,

03:12you can improve your character's build-outs to tailor your playstyle in ways that are unique to you.

03:18Throughout your journey, you'll earn skill points with which you can boost your stats

03:23and gain special moves to craft your perfect approach for each position.

03:28Brooms have differing base stats determined by their manufacturer.

03:32These include improvements to max speed, health, agility and more.

03:37From the Nimbus to the Cleansweep, no two brooms fly quite the same.

03:44With six characters in your roster, you'll have no shortage of ways you can express yourself.

03:50Each character can be customized to your liking, including their physical characteristics,

03:55hair, outfits, hats, wands and more.

03:59Or you can equip any slot with your hero skins that let you appear as your favorite Wizarding World characters.

04:06In addition to your looks, you can personalize your broom skins, broom trails,

04:11goal-scoring VFX, emotes and post-game celebrations.

04:19As you build up and personalize your dream roster,

04:22you may wish to show off and prove your skills to players around the world.

04:27In PvP mode, you'll control one of your team's chasers as well as one other role of your choice.

04:33Form a party with your friends or queue up as your favorite role in matchmaking.

04:38Finally, be on the lookout for future seasons and events featuring new characters, maps, rewards and so much more.
