00:00As Coco Gauff continues to defend her title at the US Open and Novak Djokovic tries to understand
00:04how he was eliminated so quickly, here in Paris there are gold medals up for grabs once again.
00:10This with the Paralympics with the tennis in the Paralympics and well the hopes for France are
00:16very big. We're outside Roland Garros that is the home of the French tennis of the French Open
00:22and those hopes as mentioned are very big. This especially in the men's wheelchair doubles that
00:28comes with Stéphane Houdet. Houdet is 53 years old and ever since Beijing he's won gold every
00:35single time just with the exception of London in 2012. This time he's partnering up with Frédéric
00:41Gatineau to try and win gold in Paris 2024. The wheelchair tennis that differs in several ways
00:47one of those being that the players are allowed to have two bounces on the ball but also you'll
00:51often see them do eight shapes with their wheelchairs to try and stay in focus and try
00:55and keep the position on the ball there. Now the last times in the last two finals it was a showdown
01:01between Team France and Team GB. France hoping to get there once again to the final. There's an
01:06addition though to the team and that comes in the name of Yannick Noah, a legend in French tennis.
01:12Yannick Noah has partnered with the team here for the Paralympics to try and give them a little bit
01:17of motivation, help as well just all along the way. He's thrilled to be a part of the adventure
01:23and he's hoping that he can give a little bit of that extra boost they need to try and win
01:27on home turf once more in the Paralympics this time around as they try to win on clay at Roland-Garros.
