In the year 185 C.E, Chinese astronomers spotted a supernova and dubbed it the "guest star." The National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter Telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile has recently captured imagery of supernova SN 185, which lies about 8000 light-years away.
