00:00Through kilometer zero immediately, it's UAE Team Emirates trying to cause this breakaway.
00:09It's doing the damage at the back of the peloton, at the front, nothing's able to relent.
00:18A stage that hasn't stopped since kilometer zero.
00:22Plenty of riders and teams wanted to try and get themselves into the breakaway.
00:28Well this is a bit of a sneaky move from Wout van Aert, he extends his lead, he doesn't
00:31want any passengers, he wants to take things into his own hands.
00:39When I end up in a situation like this, I always have a chance and it's a very cool
00:46victory.
00:47Quentin Pochere is going to hold the right hand side of the road, but immediately with
00:52the big acceleration it's Wout van Aert who comes into Bayona.
00:55And Wout van Aert is going to make it three victories in this year's Vuelta a España.
01:10Well today's stage, it's been a very, very active start.
01:14This is one of the most open Grand Tours we've seen.
01:18Teams really having to think strategically, how can they beat everybody?
01:26The leading group go towards the base of the final climb of the day.
01:42Eddie Dunbar takes the risk and he tries to go early, he's got an immediate reaction and
01:46he's got the gap over the others.
01:50Eddie Dunbar, the Irishman of Jayco Alula, is going to take his debut stage in a Grand
01:55Tour.
01:59Since the Vuelta last year, I think I've had seven or eight crashes and of course physically
02:04that takes its toll, but mentally it took its toll on me as well, you know.
02:09I've had numerous times in my head where I thought that I might not have a future in
02:14the sport just because of the crashes and the injuries I've had and I have an incredible
02:18group of family and friends in the team.
02:20They back me so much as well and yeah, it's been a long time coming, but just to repay
02:25all of them today, it means a lot.
02:39Looks like that breakaway might be the breakaway of the day.
02:55To the base of the climb of the day, up to the ski station, to Manzanera.
03:12The wildcard team is going to have their victory.
03:16This is one for Manolo Ascana.
03:19Pablo Castrillo, the 23-year-old on Grand Tour debut, is a Grand Tour stage winner.
03:28I can't believe that I won my first Vuelta a España and the truth is that I dedicate
03:33the victory to the whole team, to my family and above all to a special person, to Manolo
03:38Ascana, who unfortunately died tonight and the whole stage was thinking about him to
03:44dedicate the victory to him.
03:50Another five points into the pocket of the Belgian.
03:57At the end of today's stage, Wout van Aert is going to be the leader in the King of the
04:05Mountains competition.
04:07Oh, crash, crash with one of the riders.
04:10One more rider down.
04:14Jay Vine is back on his feet.
04:17This is McNulty, who is just being helped out of the bushes, having crashed on that
04:21corner.
04:22He's being helped to his feet and helped back to the road.
04:26Oh, we're seeing a bit of a gap there.
04:30It's accelerating.
04:31It's only Michael Woods who can follow.
04:39And so they all feel like Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe.
04:41They're the strongest team here.
04:48And it's the Maple Leaf that's victorious.
04:52Mike Woods, the Canadian champion wins stage 13.
05:11It's Ismael Issa-Baik in those yellow jerseys who are patrolling things in the peloton.
05:20Perhaps they feel like Wout van Aert can take another victory today.
05:37Here goes Norváez, who is leaving Frigo behind.
06:00It's Grose versus Van Aert.
06:01Grose versus Van Aert.
06:02Who's going to get the upper hand?
06:03Van Aert in the green jersey.
06:05Who's going to be close on the line?
06:07Who's going to be a throw?
06:08And it looks as though Caden Grose gets the better of Wout van Aert.
06:23There's two first categorized climbs today, a third category and our first especial climb,
06:28which is the Cuita Negra.
06:52Jay Vine's job is done.
06:53He almost comes to a standstill.
06:55And this is the point, Cuita Negra.
06:58His final classified climb of the day.
07:03It's Pablo Castrillo who says, thanks very much, lads, for the ride.
07:07I'm off in pursuit of my second Vuelta stage victory.
07:24This has been absolutely sensational.
07:27A performance of a lifetime, one in which his team, himself, his family, his friends,
07:34his country are going to be so proud of.
07:37Pablo Castrillo is a two-time Grand Tour stage winner.
