00:00I'm joined here by Charlie Field of the Hamilton Kangaroos. Mate, you join a pretty
00:06illustrious group of Jade Cup winners. First of all, what's kind of your feeling
00:11at the moment? How do you kind of feel to join those names and cap off a
00:15really big year? Yeah, pretty surprised. I honestly thought I'd come here maybe at
00:20third or best, but I got first and it's a pretty good feeling. Yeah, had a really strong end to the season
00:27which kind of helped you. How did you feel like you kind of
00:31performed across the season? Do you feel like you were pretty consistent? Yeah, I felt like I was pretty
00:36consistent, kind of in and out of the senior side which had me a bit more
00:40experience coming back into the 18 side to kind of help perform as best as
00:45possible. So your role in the seniors, I know you played a handful of games at
00:49senior level as well. Where did you kind of feel like you played your best footy
00:53this year? Well, in the seniors probably played down forward majority and then
00:58back in the 18s kind of switched between wing and forward, so both those positions
01:03are kind of my go-to. Who have you kind of leaned on during this year and
01:08obviously previous years? Who's been kind of those players or coaches or mentors
01:13that you've kind of lent on? Yeah, well definitely there's a few people around
01:18the club, old or young. There's a few young blokes in the senior side, the likes of
01:23Ethan Knight, Jack English, look up to them blokes and then you've got Tomo
01:28coming in for his first year as coach this year for the senior group. He's
01:33really handy, gives you a lot of tips and also under 18 coach, Damo Van Someren is a real help.
01:38So moving forward with your senior footy, obviously you want to continue to be
01:43playing at the highest level possible. Does it give you a lot of motivation now
01:47heading into next year and beyond to keep pushing forward and playing
01:53regular Hampton League? Yeah, it's obviously a massive confidence booster. I think going into next year, I kind of want to carry this form in, but yeah, not putting too much pressure on myself.
