00:00Kyle Larson here at Darlington Raceway where a ton of speed in that five. You've
00:04led the most laps of anybody all season long and it came down to you and Tyler
00:07Reddick. Lost the regular season championship by a point. Anything you
00:10could have done differently? Yeah, it just got a little sideways for us when
00:15Ross stayed out and I didn't get the best launch and got racing and the 14
00:20got a great run and got by me down the backstretch and I just lost control of
00:23the race there and then I didn't do a good job on the final launch there.
00:28So yeah, that was a bummer but you know with Tyler and I being so close in
00:34points and the day we had going and the day they kind of had going, not
00:38being as strong as I thought they'd be, I was definitely safe and just trying to
00:44get to the finish. So yeah, bummer that he was able to pass some cars there at
00:49the end but you know our team did a great job.
00:52Pit crew was phenomenal. Our race car was amazing too. So yeah, I'm proud of
00:59it. Bummed that we missed out on the driver's side by a point but we still
01:02did get the owners regular season locked up. So thanks to Justin Allgaier
01:07for doing a great job at Charlotte and yeah, we'll just try to not have what
01:14happened in 2022 happen again. We'll head to three racetracks for this
01:17opening round that are all very different and very unique. I know you
01:20guys are good on points and you never know what can happen in the playoffs but
01:24how do you attack these next three weeks? Yeah, I just really just take it week by
01:29week. I mean Atlanta's crazy so I mean you got a 50-50 shot of crash in there
01:32so then you just kind of got to reevaluate after that. So we've been
01:37fast there, we just haven't finished yet so hopefully next week will be a little
01:42bit better and we can see the checkered flag. Thanks Kyle. Thanks.
