00:00President Bolotinibu led government on Monday arraigned 10 out of the people arrested during the August-August governance nationwide protest in Nigeria before a federal high court sitting in Abuja.
00:12The accused protesters pleaded not guilty to the count's charges of terrorism and treason-related alleged offences.

00:41Sahara Reporter's media network stated that the Nigerian government on Monday arraigned 10 youths arrested in Abuja, Kaduna, Kano and Gombe for demanding for good governance during a protest-themed end-by-governance for trumps of charges bordering on treasonable felony before a federal high court in Abuja.

02:24President Bolotinobu-led administration has secured a court order to detain 124 EGBA governance protestors for 60 days on alleged terrorism offences.
02:36Sahara Reporters reported on Sunday that Justice Emeka Uwait of the Federal High Court in Abuja had granted applications filed by the Nigerian police to remand 124 arrested EGBA governance protestors for 60 days, pending the conclusion of its investigation.
02:53The affected protestors include minors, who were accused of terrorism and treasonable felonies.
03:00In a two-ex party application Sahara Reporters obtained on Monday, the Inspector General, IG, of police sought an interim order to remand the suspects until the conclusion of the investigation, which was granted by Justice Emeka Uwait.
03:17The applications were brought pursuant to Section 66-1 of the Terrorism, Prevention and Prohibition Act 2022, Section 35-1c of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as amended,
03:35and Section 299 of the Administration of Criminal Justice A.C.T. 2015 and under the inherent jurisdiction of this Honorable Court to administer justice.
03:47In the first motion ex parte marked FHC-ABJ-CS-1154-2024, between Inspector General of Police as complainant, applicants and 75 protestors, the police alleged the committed acts of terrorism, treason, and treasonable felonies, including arson and terrorism.

09:10The motion, dated August 20, was filed on August 21. Given four grounds why the application should be granted, a prosecution officer, Mohamed said the defendants engaged in the offense of terrorism financing to overthrow a democratically elected government.

10:47An affidavit of urgency, sworn to by one Gregory Wojey, a staff of the Nigeria Police Force, attached to Force Criminal Investigation Department, Abuja, claimed that the respondents committed the offense on August 4, 2024.
