00:00Donna's day is all about having fun with kids. Donna's day is a resource for
00:10families.
00:17We like to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary.
00:22Donna's day is for all ages.
00:42Parenting gives you the perfect excuse to play like a kid again. There's so much
00:46advice out there on how to be a successful parent, but our show isn't
00:50about advice. Fish prints. It's about taking the suggestions and turning them
00:55into activities. Paper making. It's so much fun. You'll enjoy doing it with all
01:01the kids. As busy parents we're always looking to find time to spend with our
01:05kids and sometimes we just don't have that time. Well my suggestion is is to
01:10include your kids in your everyday activities. It's one ingredient in the
01:14recipe of good parenting. One of my favorite segments on Donna's day is
01:18Atlas in the Kitchen. And these are really good. It's a cooking show in
01:22Donna's day and what we do is prepare menus from different countries of the
01:27world. And it's called Barfee. I'm not kidding it's really called Barfee. And we
01:32get our hands in the flour, we get our hands in the butter, have a great time. In
01:36family life the unexpected is the rule. Now comes the messy part. And that's what
01:41this show is all about. Messes. Drip-free. It's a party. We don't have to go after
01:49perfection. It never turns out that way. In fact it's the relationship building.
01:53It's what you're doing together that really counts. All I can say is that this
01:57is life in our house. I wouldn't have it any other way. It's the little things we
02:03do with our kids that count big in the long run. When there's a birthday in your
02:06house, wear a crown. We show you all kinds of strategies for getting the kids
02:12to do things together and making life special. And what you can do with your
02:16children that's creative, fun, and meaningful. Here's a great idea for your
02:20kids to do. They can decorate the back of the fishbowl and brighten their
02:24environment. I used to be a teacher. In fact I guess I still am. It's just that
02:28my classroom has changed and I don't have any behavior problems. That's the
02:32best part. That says it all. I think of Donna's Day as a resource for busy,
02:39active families. It's really television that gives back. It's a memory they'll
02:44never forget. It's about living together in a community and sharing the things we
02:49love best. With each other. With our kids. With our grandparents. With everybody.
