00:00If your car was swept away by the storm, you can still save it.
00:08This is the tip talk in the report of Katrina Son.
00:14Not just one, but the cars of Francis Aureliado were swept away twice.
00:20The first time was during the Ondoy storm.
00:23When I left, after a few hours, my office mates called me and asked if the car was swept away.
00:29It took three days for him to get the car out of the parking lot and get it cleaned.
00:35We changed the oil three times.
00:37And then they said my computer box was broken, so I had to go to Quezon City to look for a replacement.
00:44He still didn't get it right. There were always bugs, there were always problems.
00:48It took two weeks for the car to be repaired.
00:52The cost of repairing the car was so high that he decided to just sell it.
01:00A few years later, he experienced it again during the Katrina storm.
01:07According to the car shop owner in Quezon City, it is important to know what to do if the car was swept away.
01:14Immediately remove it from the car.
01:16Also, don't start the engine first.
01:19After that...
01:20First, we will remove the battery, its positive and negative.
01:24Once we remove it, we will just let it be.
01:27And then we will drain the engine oil, the fluids and gasoline.
01:32So that the car won't be totally damaged.
01:36It needs to be made sure that the computer box didn't reach the water.
01:40The computer box needs to be checked by an expert because it requires a special skill.
01:46The Automobile Association of the Philippines will remind us
01:50how much will be spent on repairing a wrecked car so that we can decide if it's worth it.
01:58We should immediately tell them the cost of the car versus how much will be spent on repairing it.
02:09If the car is worthless and you will spend the right amount of money, why would you spend it?
02:17You have to be practical.
02:19Katrina Son reporting for GMA Integrated News.
02:28The storm, Enteng, continued its strength while moving in the West Philippine Sea.
02:32The last sighting of the storm was 210 kilometers west-northwest of Lawag City, Ilocos Norte.
02:38It has a wind speed of 95 kilometers per hour.
02:42It reaches 115 kilometers per hour near the center.
02:46It continues to move west-northwest at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
02:51The only signs of the storm are Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, northern portion of La Union and Abra.
02:58Because of the storm Enteng and Habagat, it will be difficult and dangerous
03:02to sail on the western and northern seaboards of Northern Luzon.
03:06Farmers in South Korea are worried about the change in the quality and taste of their famous dish, kimchi,
03:12due to climate change.
03:14They have experienced the hot weather even when it's already cold,
03:17so the quality of their crops, napa cabbage, which is the main ingredient in kimchi, is affected.
03:22The number of cabbages they harvest has also decreased.
03:26Scientists are now studying how this can be solved.
