00:00It's time to start looking at week one.
00:07I got a poll question up on my Twitter X feed right now, at SportsRage, what's the best
00:13survivor pick of the week, except there's, you know, there's a bunch of ways of looking
00:17at this.
00:18All right.
00:19And for the record, the circus survivor got to the required amount of contestants.
00:26So they got to 10,000.
00:28There's going to be over 10,000 people in this contest.
00:31Anything now is just sort of an overlay for the players.
00:34There's probably going to be about 10 and a half, potentially, maybe $11 million at
00:39stake on the line when it's all said and done.
00:42But they got to the 10 mil.
00:44So this thing, let the circus begin.
00:49And you can't take, obviously, anyone and no survivor, you can't take the same team
00:54twice.
00:55Okay.
00:56You know, so it's easy to say and look and go, oh, you know, let's say like the Chicago
01:00Bears for the record.
01:01I like the Chicago Bears this week, but I will also tell you the last 15 quarterbacks
01:07to start in week one as a rookie or 014 and one, the last quarterback to start in week
01:14one as a rookie and win the football game was David Carr.
01:20Not even Derek Carr, David Carr, 2002 Houston Texans.
01:24We're going back a ways.
01:25All right.
01:27So it's like the road to hell was paved with good intentions, but nevertheless, it's still
01:30a road to hell.
01:31And so you got Caleb Williams, you got a bunch of quarterbacks making the first start.
01:36So the numbers are against them, but without being stated, I think Caleb Williams is already
01:42better than Will Levis.
01:44Hasn't played a game yet in National Football League.
01:46There's my first hot take of the season.
