03:54Years ago in my ministry God began to deal with me about human souls and
04:00He showed me that the spirit man
04:03Contains the Holy Spirit and is the only part of the person that's saved the only thing that's born again
04:10about you is your spirit man and
04:14God showed me that the conscience is
04:18Separate and that it it is the seat of the person's morality your conscience is kind of like a
04:25Internal warning system given to each individual to warn them of danger and to keep them out of trouble
04:33Your conscience is the seat of your morality and
04:37It determines what is right, and what is wrong on a moral basis your mind is separate from your conscience
04:44It's the seat of your intelligence and your free will
04:48the mind is like the rudder on a boat and
04:53it controls the rest of the inner man, which is your soul and spirit and your conscience and
04:59All of those things as you know are implanted in your body, which is kind of like a suitcase
05:05containing all the clothes
05:07Well God began to deal with me about this soul issue, and I wanted to share some of the scriptures that he
05:14Got through to me years ago when I began to see that people could have scars or wounds on their soul
05:21even if their mind
05:24Didn't have the scars
05:26In other words a person could be wounded abused or damaged severely and
05:33emotionally in the soul
05:36The damage could still be in there even though in the mind the person had
05:41put it out of their mind or blocked it or deleted it and
05:46They never thought about it again in other words trauma can come in at
05:51Point A and if the mind blocks it or refuses to accept it or
05:58buries it that pain on the soul still stays there even though the mind doesn't focus on it and
06:06That's how many people had come up with these emotional illnesses because in their minds
06:11They felt that like they had dealt with something
06:14But in fact the pain of what they had gone through was still in the soul inside the soul
06:21and
06:22for example in Genesis chapter 42
06:26when
06:29The Prince of Egypt was thrown down a well one of the brothers said
06:36Quote we are very guilty concerning our brother in that we saw the anguish of his soul
06:43when he begged us and
06:45We would not hear
06:48That is why this distress has come upon us
06:53again, the soul
06:55carries with it and holds on to
06:57Clings to almost like it's superglued
07:00anguish
07:02Prior trauma and prior anguish and in Joseph's case if that anguish isn't
07:09faced and dealt with and
07:13Turned over to the Lord
07:15The person has never healed of it
07:18The person's never healed of it
07:20in
07:22Ecclesiastes a backslidden King Solomon in chapter 2
07:26Described the plight of humanity humanity. He said
07:30for all the days of man are sorrows and
07:34his travail is
07:38Grief yes, his heart does not take rest in the night
07:45This is also vanity
07:47What he meant there was uselessness wasted wasted nothingness
07:52Well here you can see
07:54damage on a person's soul
07:56the sorrow of the soul
08:00Causes
08:02Travail it causes grief and
08:07It affects your sleep it causes insomnia Ecclesiastes chapter 2
08:14In Jeremiah chapter 8
08:16The
08:19Prophet said quote, when would I comfort myself against sorrow for my heart is faint in me?
08:26and
08:28that clearly is an
08:32Illustration of
08:34Heart sorrow causing the person physical
08:40exhaustion
08:41People that are depressed and have soul wounds very often are physically unable to function
08:52For example in Proverbs 15 the Bible says a merry heart makes a cheerful countenance
09:00But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken
09:06Born-again Christians who are saved in spirit, but damaged in the soul
09:12Very often have their anointings blunted and their giftings blocked
09:18Because they haven't dealt with this pain of the soul from their previous abuse
09:24Heartache and the previous disappointments of their life
09:28This is very common
09:31In your counseling sister session when you're ministering these people the key thing to remember is you've got to get
09:38Them to be able to face
09:41The trauma a lot of people
09:45Therapists and psychotherapists social workers and so on they don't believe in that
09:51But the Holy Spirit requires it he requires you to have to face it
09:56So that he can remove it
10:00So he can remove it
10:03And
10:04That's how he does it he if you if you're willing to face something
10:08God's willing to remove it
10:11Yes, sir a
10:15Merry heart, what's he talking about the soul your emotions come out of your soul?
10:23I'm a Kansas City Chief fan and
10:28Super Bowl last year
10:30we were watching the Super Bowl here at my house my family my family came over and
10:36As they say on the street a good time was had by all
10:40but
10:42When the Chiefs would score a touchdown you could see merry hearts in my living room
10:48lots of them
10:50When the 49ers scored you saw a lot of sorrow of the heart in my living room
10:56Why that's an that's a funny illustration, but the point is the soul
11:02Generated all of that the happiness when the Chiefs scored
11:07You know the sadness when the 49ers scored it all comes out of your soul
11:12your emotions come out of your soul and
11:16In Job chapter 3
11:19The Prophet said why where is light given to him that is in misery and
11:25Life to the bitter in their soul
11:29The
11:31Soul can be extremely dangerous
11:34Causing all kinds of severe illnesses in a human being
11:39One is suicide two is physical illnesses three is mental illnesses
11:47The leading cause of cancer is
11:51Bitterness of the soul the leading cause of arthritis rheumatoid
11:57Fibromyalgia is what bitterness of the soul
12:02Several times over the years. I've seen somebody healed right in front of me who repented of bitterness and
12:09Unforgiveness to another human being who had abused them
12:14Once this bitterness is lifted out of the soul the body can naturally heal it's phenomenal
12:22In
12:24Job 14
12:26He says this but his flesh upon him shall have pain and his soul within him shall mourn
12:35You can see here clearly the delineation between the body and the soul the soul carries the grief the sadness in the morning
12:43the flesh
12:45Carries the injury and the pain or the or the illness
12:50there's a bifurcation and
12:53One directly affects the other
12:58There's empirical research to show that if two people have exactly the same injury or illness the one with the positive attitude
13:06Heals quicker and better than the one with the negative one
13:10Psalms 13
13:11How long shall I take counsel in my soul having sorrow in my heart?
13:18every day
13:20How long shall my enemy be exalted over me now here you see
13:25King David in during his period of suffering and sorrow
13:31Clearly here you see the role of the soul the pain in the soul
13:38And once that pain is removed
13:43The person recovers and they heal it's really quite remarkable
13:50If you have pain and bitterness against someone or you have ought against that person
13:57They have victory over your soul and they are exalted over you
14:04King David was able to beat King Saul not physically
14:10But spiritually
14:13He beat King Saul because he forgave him and he was good to his descendants
14:20he
14:23Was good to his descendants
14:26That's how you can beat somebody
14:29It's a fair fight
14:31They abuse you and you forgive them you win
14:34They abuse you and you abuse them back
14:37You become just like them
14:40And you become the polar opposite of the Lord Jesus
14:45Psalms 31 says have mercy upon me Lord for I'm in trouble
14:50My eye is consumed with grief. Yes, my soul and
14:56My belly you can see there that people who have pain and wounds on their soul actually have physical symptoms
15:04in their stomach
15:05They have heart conditions
15:08They have intestinal problems
15:10some women have womb problems and
15:14the power of the soul is
15:16enormous
15:18it has enormous power and
15:21part of that power is to
15:24physically
15:26Damage the body
15:31He King David knows he's in trouble and
15:34as a result of that his
15:36he's consumed with grief and his soul and
15:40In his belly his physical body was hurting because of the negative emotions of his soul and
15:48God was saying to him. Hey, this has to be fixed
15:54This must be repaired or
16:00Insomnia or sickness fibromyalgia rheumatoid arthritis
16:05Arthritis
16:08Intestinal pains womb issues stomach issues ulcers
16:16Duodenal issues
16:17colon problems
16:19You see the power of the soul transferring into the body it transfers in
16:26your body
16:28suddenly becomes a carrier of
16:32Soul damage
16:35the damage in the soul is absolutely enormous and
16:40Unless it's removed. The person is going to have mental and emotional and physical problems
16:47the rest of their lives
16:51One of the reasons people don't heal from injuries or diseases or illnesses is because they have grief and sorrow in
16:59Their soul and it blocks your healing
17:03Grief and sorrow in the soul will block your anointing. It'll block your giftings and it will block your body from healing
17:11from a disease sickness or illness or injury
17:18Very few people know this very few people understand it your soul is a monster
17:26One of the biggest enemies of your life
17:29is your soul
17:31People who cannot control their emotions
17:35Destined for failure
17:38Their textbook losers and they repetitively lose over and over and over again and don't understand it intellectually
17:47But they don't understand that they ought the sorrow the grief the sadness in the soul
17:55Causes
17:57Failure
17:59It causes a person to be a chronic loser
18:03It steals victories from them
18:08They steal defeat of the jaws of victory every time because the soul and
18:13The uncontrolled emotions affect not only them but damage their family their co-workers and their church
18:23People who have wounds on their soul who can't control their emotions are
18:27Very very dangerous people
18:30They're almost impossible to live with
18:33There are a nightmare to marry and it always transfers to the kids
18:40The kids their soul picks up the negative soul wounds of the parents. It happens all the time
18:46I mean, it's like clockwork
18:48You
18:52Get a sick mom or dad and I'm telling you that pain in their soul
18:57Will transfer into the soul of the child did me with my parents. I had the same soul wounds my parents had
19:06If you think of your soul kind of as a sponge it's easy to analyze
19:11You know a sponge sucks up liquid
19:14The soul sucks up
19:17Joy unspeakable and full of glory and or misery sorrow and grief that King Saul and King David had
19:27Man
19:29Your soul is
19:33Like a nuclear weapon
19:36And if you don't have your emotions under control and you don't get rid of these soul wounds
19:43Your future is bleak
19:46You ever heard of a yo-yo Christian, they're up one day down the next up one day down the next
19:51Those are soul based Christians. We call them carnal Christians Christians that live out of their soul their feelings their emotions
20:03The great ministers of the gospel in the Bible and of recent years
20:08For example back in the healing revival back in the 60s
20:13the great anointed men of God
20:16The ones that lasted the ones that didn't fail were the ones that could control their emotions
20:23They didn't get too high
20:26And they didn't get too low
20:28they stayed in this middle ground as
20:31They ministered in the anointing of the Holy Ghost
20:38They had control over their soul and a Christian that cannot control his soul
20:45I'm telling you
20:49Doomsday
20:52Doomsday
20:54And young people are the same as older people. They're all the same
20:58you know
21:00One of the great weapons Satan has is his ability to encourage human beings to fall in love
21:08They want love
21:10It's kind of the Rodney Dangerfield syndrome. They're always looking for love
21:15and the demons know that and so
21:17They manipulate their emotions
21:20to fall in love with people who are plants people that the devil sends in who they shouldn't even have a
21:26They shouldn't even have said hi to they ended up marry him or sleeping with him
21:33It's a trick of the devil and what he's doing is manipulating your soul
21:38To like things about this person to find the things amusing about them
21:45He gives you it's almost like marketing
21:51And boy as soon as you marry that person the devil drops a dime on you and
21:58Does a reverse
22:00and
22:02Suddenly the real person comes out and the and the emotions that they had previously been high hiding involving anger
22:10Control
22:12Narcissism
22:15Suddenly come out
22:19And it is a literal nightmare on Elm Street after that
22:24But get it but again, it's all about the devil manipulating your soul he builds this
22:30Negative soul in there and then he gives it certain features
22:34Features that are able to fool people on the outside
22:38He tricks them
22:41What needs to be done well, it's easy to track, okay
22:48Whatever you're exposed to
22:51Whatever you're exposed to if you can feel it
22:56if you have a negative emotion come up about a subject about an issue about a
23:03friend about a
23:05ex-spouse about kids about
23:07school about church
23:09Whatever it is, you know counselors call them triggers, right? They call triggers
23:17If you
23:19Today the rest of this day. Let's say today
23:22You're going to run a test on yourself and God's going to help you
23:28The Holy Spirit is going to bless you today
23:31You're going to monitor with your mind your emotions of your soul and
23:39You're going to watch what your soul is triggered by
23:43Is it a person is it a certain phrase this is you know something somebody said is it a subject whatever it is
23:53You're going to monitor that and you know what you're going to do you're going to write it down
23:58You're going to write it down, okay 10 30 a.m. After brother Mike's podcast

24:08Husband yelled at me
24:11To do this that and I felt
24:18This
24:21Number two you're gonna write it down
24:29Is it there's empirical research that if you write something down and focus on it the
24:35Probability of you remembering it and doing something about it increases exponentially
24:41So you're going to write it down
24:43I'll make a mental note of that click. No, that doesn't work. Particularly when you become an old man like me that stuff's a
24:50harder
24:54Number two my mother called and
25:01Wanted to know what was going on and I said I'm going to go to the doctor's office. I'm going to go to the doctor's office
25:07I'm going to go to the doctor's office. I'm going to go to the doctor's office. I'm going to go to the doctor's office
25:12Wanted to know why I hadn't called her back and that I often did that and
25:20I felt boom. Oh
25:26I
25:29Felt whatever it was
25:33See if you can learn to monitor your emotions using your mind and your intelligence
25:37You
25:40Can do exactly what the Holy Spirit wants you to do
25:43So you're so the blockage is gone and your giftings and your anointing will go ahead and flow
25:54But you got to find out what it is if you live in ignorance everybody loses
26:03Ignorance hurts everybody
26:06Nobody's successful when they're ignorant
26:11Has nothing to do the intelligence
26:14Many very intelligent people huge IQs are ignorant about spiritual things and they suffer enormous damage
26:25So today I hope
26:27That you'll take advantage of this anointing in this gift that you have to monitor your emotions
26:34You put them down one two three and the trigger that caused them
26:40That's all you have to focus on
26:42That's all you have to do and you can remove them. You bring these to the Lord you lay them at his feet
26:50You lay them at Calvary
26:52see
26:53Okay, pretend you're an IRS auditor. Okay. Now, where's the receipt for this? But I went through an audit
27:00I had two audits back in the 80s
27:02I
27:03Was never audited after that because I passed both audits because this
27:08IRS auditor kept asking me now, where's the receipt for this building the expenses for that on that rental?
27:15But I pull it out
27:17Where's the receipt for this on that rental? I'd pull it out
27:21and
27:23She couldn't believe it and I'll never forget as long as I live the exact quote was
27:29Quote we're never going to get any money out of you unquote. That's what that IRS auditor said to me
27:37That's a true status exact quote
27:41Well, you need to become an IRS auditor today you need to where's the receipt for that where's the receipt for this
27:47Where's the documentation for that?
27:50You took an interest deduction, where's the bank receipt? It's right here. It's right here. It's right here. It's right here. I passed my audit
27:58and
27:59You can pass your audit because by becoming a soul wound auditor
28:05Okay, that's that's your official title. I
28:08Think I'll promote it nationwide. Maybe open up a school so people won't get a certificate of that. Yeah, that's a good idea
28:14It just came to me a lot of stuff comes to me
28:19There it is
28:20You are a soul wound auditor today of yourself. And the reason you're doing that is
28:27Because you want the anointing you're annoying to go from here to here you want your giftings to go from here to here and
28:34You want to be a good servant of the Lord Jesus because you care and you want to help people
28:42You're not in it for the money or the glory. That's not you that's for somebody on TV. That's for some quack on YouTube
28:50That's not you
28:53You are a servant of the Lord you're not like those other people and you care
29:00But in order to get your giftings and anointing is maxed out, you know what you're gonna have to do you got to fix these
29:06Wounds on the soul and you must remove them. You must hear these scriptures that I gave you today
29:15You must kill this thing
