00:00Alright, hi people, it's Shiggs here, and I'm here to do an unboxing for you guys today

00:04of Space Sheriff Shider, the third Metal Hero series, the fifth to be released by DiscoTech,

00:13after just beyond Gavon, Sharivon, and Jeevon.

00:20So yeah, and this rounds out the Gavon, Sharivon, Shider trilogy, and yeah, just like Gavon

00:28and Sharivon, this got an HD remaster in Japan, so DiscoTech is just using the same HD remaster

00:36for this release.

00:38So yeah, basically I believe the first three Metal Hero series made a trilogy where they

00:43all crossed over at different points over the course of those shows, so yeah, and so

00:52here we go with that.

00:53Um, so yeah, so here we go, an English version of the Space Sheriff Shider logo, you got

01:00Shider right there, his ship, space, I'm assuming this means he's traveling at warp speed, if

01:06not, maybe that's a planet, but yeah, one of the monsters I believe, and he fights Spider

01:13right here with him, right here, Space Sheriff Shider, Tokutime, DiscoTech, and all of that,

01:20and you can tell that this came out right after Jeevon, because of the TT, H vs. TT, 7, so yeah.

01:32So here we go with, and I mean on DiscoTech's label, not like in Chronology, but yeah, and

01:39then you got a description of the series, some screenshots from some of the episodes

01:43as well as probably, maybe a still, production still, but yeah, and I'm assuming the villain's

01:50right there, Shider right there, uh, so region A, video 133x1, 4x3, 1080p HD, audio, Japanese

02:00linear PCM 2.0, yeah, I guess they don't have great audio masters, um, at least for these

02:06earlier shows, because for Jeevon, they say they have Japanese Dolby Digital 2.0, which

02:12is a higher quality, I believe, for the audio, which is weird that they wouldn't have better

02:19audio masters for this, but whatever, subtitles in English, 49 episodes on 4 discs, 1200 minutes,

02:24unrated, and on that, you know, 1984 tele, so yeah, and on the inside here, you got different

02:32cover art with him, in space, uh, basically this, uh, the space shot is flipped, so I

02:39guess that is a planet, but it's, um, it's flipped with, well, it looks like I'm going

02:45at warp speed, um, so yeah, again, the space Shider, space Sheriff Shider logo, so yeah,

02:52and then monster right there, spine, and on the back, this, and then, yeah, the back's

03:00basically the same as the slipcover, so yeah, so here we go with the inside artwork, which

03:05is pretty cool, all things considered, so you got disc 1, about 13 episodes of disc,

03:13for the first 3, disc 2, and disc 3, um, okay, and then disc 4 has only about 9, 10 episodes,

03:24but it does have 2 bonus features, actually no, 3, maybe 4, uh, but the 2 video bonus

03:30features are the karaoke version of the full theme song, uh, set to, I think, a music video,

03:36and then, uh, edited together of clips, that's in standard def, I believe that that's probably

03:41just from the DVDs or VHS releases, um, from Japan, uh, and then a 35 year, like, I think

03:48retrospective or reunion thing, uh, for Shider, which is nice, um, so yeah, um, and the last

03:57disc is interesting, because it has this artwork of this monster, but yeah, alright,

04:04so we got all of this, and it's pretty nice how, um, the, uh, the Metal Hero series are

04:14turning out, we got Wind Specter coming up next, uh, in release order, so yeah, so you

04:19have Gavon, Sharivon, and Shider, right there, all with really good, uh, HD masters, standard,

04:29er, uh, subtitles, and all that for you guys to get, um, then we got Just Beyond, which

04:35unfortunately went out of print, I believe, recently, because I think DiscoTech, I think

04:40their license expired, so, if you are going to buy Just Beyond, buy it very quickly, if

04:47you see this video and you want to buy it, because, or, buy it if you see it as well,

04:53because, if it's not already out of print, or not on sale still, where you're gonna buy

04:58it, uh, good luck finding it, good luck finding it for a decent price, then we got G-Bon,

05:03which is the 8th series, um, so yeah, we got Wind Specter coming up next, which I, which

05:08is a 90s series, um, I believe, and whatever happens in the future for the Metal Hero series

05:14under DiscoTech, we're going to see what's gonna happen, we also have, uh, videos coming

05:19up for when they release for, um, Kamen Rider V3, Android Kikaider, and whatever else DiscoTech

05:29decides to release, so, yeah, so that's really nice, but, in the meantime, we got Metal Heroes,

05:38so, yeah, I really do hope that it's, uh, that maybe Paramorphicon gets some of the

05:44Metal Heroes actors there, but yeah, so, really not much else to say, so, release description
