00:12Those are the results of a meeting between the two nations' leaders,
00:15who've met in Beijing as part of a summit of 50 African nations in China.
00:20China hoping then to cement itself as a main partner for the continent
00:23at the Forum on China and African Cooperation.
00:27Earlier we spoke to our correspondent Yenna Li in Beijing.
00:57The day one activities all about promoting economic ties between two Chinese provinces
01:05and the continent.
01:07We're talking about Zhejiang in the southeast and Hunan in south-central China.
01:11The latter is not an economic heavyweight per se,
01:15but leaders there have long tried to foster ties with African local politicians and businesses.

01:26Most importantly though, it's Thursday when President Xi Jinping is set to give a keynote
01:30speech outlining his vision for China and Africa relations.
01:34And I'll be following that very closely for you.
