00:09broke out at a community building. Five fire engines were sent to the scene to deal with the
00:15incident which saw the Ospithorpe Pavilion ablaze. Crews from Central, Elm Lane and Riverlyn Fire
00:23Stations were called at 3.21pm today. On arrival, they found the building on fire and have been using three
00:31main hose reel jets to fight the blaze. A South Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said they were
00:39advising people to avoid the area and, if they lived close by, to keep their doors and windows
00:45closed due to smoke from the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
00:52Firefighters expect to be on the scene until around 6.30pm. Ambulances were also on the scene as a precaution because of the size of the fire and other fire crews that may have been injured.
