00:00We will now welcome Ana Cloren Jorda, weather specialist from Pag-asa. Ana, good morning.
00:08Yes, good morning, Ma'am Susan. Good morning to all of our viewers.
00:12Ana, is it possible to reach the weekend if it rains in some parts of the country that were hit by the trough of the former Enteng storm?
00:19In our investigation, Ma'am Susan, the effect of the trough or the extension of the cloud
00:26of the former Enteng storm is still visible.
00:29So, we can see that the effect is still possible in some parts of Cordillera, Adminsitive Region, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur.
00:38So, it means that here in Metro Manila, the weather can get better and we can see the sun.
00:44We can bathe. There are a lot of places to bathe.
00:47Yes. Here, Ma'am Susan, in Metro Manila, as well as in Central Luzon area, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa,
00:53we still did not expect that the weather will get better today.
00:59And until tomorrow, it is still possible that we will still get wet because of the effect of the trough.
01:05So, even if the trough or the extension of the cloud of the former Enteng storm is far away from our country,
01:11the impact of the trough will still remain until tomorrow.
01:15So, if ever, until the weekend, we can see that the weather here in Metro Manila will get better
01:21as well as in some parts of our country.
01:25But in Zambales and Bataan, it is still possible that until Saturday, they will still be affected by the trough.
01:30So, there will still be rains and storms that we are still expecting because of the trough.
01:36Anna, are we seeing any changes in the weather?
01:41For now, Ma'am Susan, we are being monitored by the cloud cluster.
01:45It is in the Pacific Ocean.
01:46So, we are being monitored because the cloud cluster is quite thick
01:50and it is possible that it will become a low-pressure area.
01:54And we are not ruling out the possibility that it will become a typhoon.
01:58So, we can see that even in the coming week,
02:01it is possible that the trough will be enhanced or strengthened
02:06and that the rain will still fall especially in the northern part of our country.
02:11The rain that we will experience here in Metro Manila and other provinces,
02:15is this still because of the trough that is still being stretched by the CNTENG?
02:20Yes, you are right.
02:22The rains that we will experience today until tomorrow
02:26and in the coming week, it will still be brought by the trough.
02:29Though, the intensity will be less, especially in the weekend.
02:33In other words, the rains that we will experience in the evening,
02:36in the morning, in the evening, and in the early morning.
02:39But in the morning, the intensity will be clearer in the weekend.
02:42So, the rain that will continue will be less, especially here in the Luzon area.
02:47In this month of September, how many storms are we expecting, Ana?
02:51In September, it is possible that there will be two to three storms
02:56that we will monitor this month of September.
03:00Thank you very much, Ana Cloren Horda, Weather Specialist.
03:03From Pag-asa, good morning to you.
