Taiwan To Increase Minimum Wage by 4.08%

Taiwan's labor ministry has announced a 4.08% hike to the country's minimum wage that would raise monthly salaries to US$889 and hourly pay to US$5.9. Taiwan has struggled to improve its stagnant wages, and has failed to keep up with salaries in Asia's other advanced economies.
