While the Avengers already shine in the MCU, the two teams still cannot meet in a film, something that could soon change as the rights to the mutants return to Marvel. In addition to Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel is already working on a new X-Men solo film.
And recently, rumors have been circulating that Marvel is planning an epic film: Avengers vs. X-Men, based on the comic book event.
Rumors indicate that the official announcement of the film could happen as early as this week. at San Diego Comic-Con, on the 27th. However, while we wait until Saturday, an official statement from Marvel has just come out.
Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, was asked about the possibility of an Avengers vs. X-Men in an interview with ComicBook. Surprisingly, the producer did not deny the idea, and even commented on the possibility:
“Well, the fun thing is that everything is possible now. It's not like Civil War or Infinity War, where we had dozens of characters that we couldn't use. We have access to all of them.”
