00:00We knew that we were making something really special and really different.

00:08There's so much to explore with this character.

00:10She's like a bottomless pit of mystery.

00:14That witch left you trapped in her distorted spell.

00:17She took every bit of power I had.

00:20But I can be that witch again.

00:23I'm gonna walk the witch's road.

00:26So many people think of Catherine as being a comedic actor,

00:28but it's her dramatic ability to go all the way there.

00:32Blast me, witches!

00:34That's what turned the character of Agatha Harkness into something remarkable.

00:38And of course, there's nothing better as an actor than having practical sets to act with.

00:43Every single effect in Agatha will be done practically.

00:47The magical environments, the road itself,

00:52the monsters they interact with along the way.

00:56We really wanted to be authentic to old Hollywood filmmaking techniques.

01:01The miniatures and backgrounds were so beautiful.

01:04I was in awe. It was so stunning.

01:09I couldn't believe the scale of this show.

01:13For each of their individual characters,

01:15we probably did over 100 costume illustrations.
