Hurts 'excited and blessed' to contest first South American NFL game

The Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers will contest the first ever NFL regular season game in Brazil

00:02It's a beautiful place, and I think just being blessed

00:06and expressing my gratitude to have the opportunity to play

00:09in general, it didn't really matter where.

00:13I'm just blessed, and I think my personal perspective is,

00:17you know, I'm a kid from, you know, East Houston

00:21that used to play this game in the streets.

00:24Any piece of grass I could find, I'd go throw the ball around

00:27and really just enjoy the game, the love for the game,

00:30and just have an opportunity to come this far

00:35and end this journey and be where we are.

00:38I think it's just how my spirit is full of gratitude

00:44to be back here and to be here, excuse me,

00:49and really just reflecting on how the journey has come for me.

00:53So it's a blessing to be able to play an international game

00:59and enjoy this moment with the people of Brazil.
