00:00One such water that the drinker becomes immortal forever.
00:07The spring whose search was carried out by rulers, sailors and navigators of all times.
00:16Where is that spring and who in history drank that water?
00:31From ancient times, researchers and navigators believed that at some point on the earth,
00:38there is such a spring that has the power to cure all diseases in the water as well as to make the body immortal.
00:49In different cultures and regions of the world, this spring is mentioned as the fountain of youth.
00:56The meaning of the water of life is the water of survival or that nectar about which this feature is stated that
01:02whoever drinks it or bathes in it will never die and that person will always be young and alive.
01:10The water of life is imagined in the form of a waterfall, a lake or a pond.
01:16From the beginning, there have been some people in the world who were very rich and powerful.
01:22Those people were always afraid of dying or getting old.
01:27Therefore, such people tried to stop their aging in ancient times and to find ways to take it back.
01:36In which the famous kings and generals of the Middle Ages are included.
01:44The first mention of the water of life in history is found in the writings of the famous Greek historian Herodotus.
01:51Herodotus has mentioned an ancient tribe living in Africa in his book Historia, which was called the Macrobians.
01:59These were very powerful, young, tall and beautiful people, who were at least 120 years old.
02:06Despite this, they looked young.
02:11According to Herodotus, the Macrobians lived in the northern areas of Sahara Desert and Africa.
02:17There was a special kind of spring flowing in the land of the Macrobians and this spring water was the secret of their long life.
02:25Herodotus has written that when the king of Greece reached the land of the Macrobians, they showed the king that spring.
02:33After bathing in it, the king's body became very shiny and smooth and he began to smell a special kind of fragrance from his body.
02:42The water of this spring was so weak that nothing could float in it, neither wood nor anything light.
02:49Herodotus writes that perhaps the reason for the long life of the Macrobians is the continuous use of the water of this spring.
02:59The mention of the water of life is also found in Islamic books and many narrations have been quoted about it.
03:05Therefore, Imam Zain-ul-Abideen has narrated a long story about the water of life and Zulqarnain.
03:11According to which Zulqarnain, who was a pious servant and king of Allah, one of the angels was his friend, whose name was Raphael, and he used to meet him.
03:23Once upon a time, Zulqarnain said to Raphael that you tell me the state of your worship in the sky.
03:30Upon this, Raphael cried and said that there are such angels in the sky who always remain in the state of standing, never sit, and some remain in the state of prostration, which never raise their heads and say that O Lord, we have not fulfilled the right of your worship.
03:48Upon hearing this, Zulqarnain cried and said that O Raphael, I wish to live a long life so that I can put it in the obedience and worship of my Lord.
03:58Upon this, Raphael said that Allah has created a spring whose name is the water of survival or the water of life.
04:05Whoever drinks the water of that spring will never die until he himself asks for his death from Allah.
04:13Zulqarnain asked, Do you know that place? He said no, but that spring is in such a dark valley on which no human or jinn has ever passed.
04:29Therefore, Zulqarnain gathered all the righteous and scholars in his court and asked them about the water of life.
04:37All the people said that we do not know about any such spring. However, one scholar said to Zulqarnain that I have read about those valleys in the will of Adam, and it has also been heard that one of the children of Sam bin Nu will be born who will drink the water of that spring, and that spring is at the same place where the sun sets.
05:01Therefore, Hazrat Zulqarnain repaired the luggage of the journey and set out in search of the spring.
05:07Hazrat Zulqarnain also took his minister with him on this journey, whose name was Hazrat Khidr, and he was Zulqarnain's cousin.
05:18Zulqarnain traveled towards the west with his army for 12 consecutive years, and after a long journey, they finally reached the banks of that valley.
05:30Zulqarnain entered that dark valley with his army of 6,000 most capable soldiers, including Khidr.
05:39As soon as he entered that valley, a sudden storm came and strong lightning began to shine.
05:47Hazrat Zulqarnain's army scattered, and after a while, when the storm stopped, Hazrat Zulqarnain reached the right side, while Khidr went to the left.
05:57Khidr, along this dark path, reached the spring of life.
06:02You were very thirsty, so you drank the water of that spring, took a bath in it, and made ablution from that water.
06:10This spring was whiter than milk and sweeter than honey.
06:15Zulqarnain passed through those dark valleys and went out, but he did not find that spring, because the water of life was not in the fate of Zulqarnain.
06:25However, because of drinking that water, Hazrat Khidr got the life of life and you will always be alive.
06:34The Alexander Romance, which is written about the journey of Alexander the Great, the king who established the largest empire in the world, also mentions the spring of life in those writings.
06:50In which it is said that Alexander the Great went in search of the spring of life with his soldiers, and during the long journey, he reached near that dark land.
07:02It is said that when Alexander reached that dark valley with his soldiers, he found a river.
07:09He set up camp on the banks of that river and caught fish and birds to eat.
07:15But when the soldiers washed those birds with the water of that river, they regained consciousness and flew away from there.
07:24Alexander the Great believed that that river was flowing from a river in heaven and coming to this earth.
07:30Therefore, there is the power and nature to give life in it.
07:34History is silent about whether Alexander drank that water or not and which land it was.
07:41If you pay attention, then such an incident is mentioned in the Quran about Moses, in which it is pointed towards the spring of life.
07:54The incident is such that once Moses was giving a sermon in the tribe of Israel.
08:00Then a person asked that who has the most knowledge among the people?
08:04Moses replied that I have.
08:07Upon this, Allah revealed to Moses that you will find one of my servants at the meeting place of two rivers, which I have given one of my knowledge, which you do not have.
08:21Moses desired to meet him.
08:24Allah commanded that take a dead fish with you and go to the meeting place of two rivers.
08:30And where that fish is lost, you will meet that man.
08:36Therefore, Moses took one of his servants with him and set out on a journey by putting a salted fish in a pot.
08:45When he reached the rocky areas, he put that pot on a rock.
08:50Then suddenly the fish came to life and went into the river through a stream.
08:55At the place where the fish was lost, Moses met the man whose name was Khidr.
09:05Now the question is that how did that dead fish come to life and go into that river?
09:11Therefore, the great commentators such as Imam Ibn Kaseer and Tabari say that the rock on which Moses had kept that fish had a spring of life under it.
09:23And because of the splash of that water, the fish came to life.
09:28Similarly, a Latin poet John Mandeville's book The Travels of Sir John Mandeville also mentions the spring of life.
09:41According to which, there is a mountain range in the southern areas of India, that is, in the Malabar Islands, and that spring of life is present at that place.
09:52In his writing, John Mandeville has written that when he reached the areas of Kulam during his journey, he found a well in which the fragrance of different spices came and this fragrance changed every hour.
10:06According to the locals, the water of this well cured diseases and by drinking its water, a person remained young for a very long time, which was called the will of youth.
10:19In the 11th century, the stories of the spring of life became famous again when in the year 1165 CE, President John wrote a letter to the Byzantine emperor, in which he mentioned an area of Africa.
10:35According to him, there was a water of fountain near Ethiopia, whose water had the property that the age of the person bathing in it would be 30, no matter how old he was.
10:48The mention of the spring of life is also found in the book of the Gospel of John.
10:54According to John, then he showed me a river of the spring of life shining like a balloon, which came out of the throne of God and flowed in the middle of that city, and across that river was the tree of life.
11:08According to the book of John, whoever enters that spring of the spring of life, every pain and wound in his body will be healed.
11:20However, one view is that the spring of life is underground, that is, it is present in the underground world. Many tourists have also claimed to explore the underground world.
11:31Therefore, it is possible that the spring of life is present at some point in the ground and until the day of judgment it has been hidden from human eyes.
