00:36Well, as of today, August 24th, 2024,
00:39the current, and I do emphasize current
00:41because these requirements have changed multiple times
00:44over the past six months, but as of today,
00:46there are three current requirements
00:48to becoming a TikTok Shop Affiliate.
00:49The first, of course, you gotta follow
00:51community guidelines, pretty straightforward.
00:53Second, you've gotta be 18 years old.
00:55And third, you need to have 5,000 followers
00:58or there is an exception.
01:00If you've got 1,000 followers, there is the potential
01:03and I would say potential to be selected
01:06for the TikTok Shops Creator Pilot Program.
01:08If you're really serious about becoming an affiliate,
01:11I don't think you can bake on this.
01:12The research that I've done has indicated
01:14that those being invited have really strong engagement
01:17with their followers and their accounts are niche accounts
01:20that are in the affiliate making money online space.
