00:00As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi ta'ala wa barakatuhu.
00:04In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:07O Allah, send blessings upon our Master, Mawlana Muhammad
00:10and upon our Master, Mawlana Muhammad
00:12as you like and are pleased to send blessings upon him.
00:15Ladies and gentlemen,
00:16As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi ta'ala wa barakatuhu.
00:19In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:22In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:25In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:28I would like to invite you to the personalities
00:33upon whom we feel this couplet as a topic.
00:38All of this is due to your generosity, Master.
00:41And today, the personality whom we have invited to this program,
00:46I personally love him a lot,
00:51I have faith in him and I often listen to his programs and sermons.
00:57His sermons are very knowledgeable.
01:02And the translation and interpretation of the Holy Qur'an by ARYQTV
01:07that he has done for you,
01:09in many of his programs,
01:11the interpretation of the Holy Qur'an has reached us
01:14in a very beautiful, excellent and easy language.
01:18And we get to learn a lot from him from time to time.
01:23My name is Hazrat Allama Maulana Muhammad Shehzad Mujaddidi.
01:30Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.
01:33I am extremely fortunate and honoured
01:37that I am here in front of you today.
01:41I will ask some questions
01:43which the audience would like to know about you.
01:46From the beginning of your life till now,
01:49in what ways and in what ways have you gone through?
01:53So, if you don't mind...
01:55Thank you very much.
01:56May you live long.
01:57JazakAllah.
01:58In the name of Allah.
01:59Let's begin.
02:00In the name of Allah.
02:01And surely, we would like to know
02:03about your beginning, childhood, birth,
02:06and all the incidents of that time.
02:12In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
02:15All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
02:17And peace and blessings be upon the messengers
02:20and the companions of the Prophet,
02:21and upon his family and companions.
02:25I am thankful to Allah for the land of Ahmad Nagar.
02:28SubhanAllah.
02:30I have always been blessed by Allah.
02:33SubhanAllah.
02:34This is the couplet of Hazrat Tawheed Ibrahim.
02:36When I read this couplet,
02:38I understood about him.
02:40And when I saw the blessings of Allah on myself,
02:45and when I saw the manifestation of His blessings,
02:47and when I saw the continuity of His blessings,
02:50then I also felt that
02:53I should always be thankful to Allah.
02:59And when I understood that
03:01I have been blessed,
03:03and that I am being blessed,
03:05then when I was a poet,
03:09I also had similar emotions in me.
03:29When I opened my eyes in my childhood,
03:31I saw the remembrance of Allah, Lord of the worlds,
03:37and the birth of His beloved,
03:39peace and blessings be upon him,
03:41and the love of the elders of the religion
03:43and the saints.
03:45In fact, I saw the elders of the religion
03:47and the saints.
03:50Obviously, at that time,
03:51the child did not know
03:52whether they were elders or saints.
03:55Later, I understood that
03:56the environment of the house was such
03:59that the saints, the elders of the religion,
04:01the Sufis, the Dervishes, and the Fakirs
04:03used to come to the house.
04:04Although we are from Lahore,
04:06a special city of Lahore,
04:08but we are called Karam.
04:11Karam is the name of this city.
04:14Therefore, when I came to my senses,
04:16I understood that
04:17we live in a purely urban environment.
04:20And here,
04:22because the house was big,
04:24the family was big,
04:26so there were some elders who used to come.
04:29We did not know where they came from.
04:32We knew that they were some elders.
04:34Their attire and appearance
04:36was enough to impress the child.
04:39They are extraordinary people.
04:41Some are Dervishes, some are Fakirs,
04:43some are of their own style.
04:45My mother, Majda,
04:46peace and blessings of Allah be upon her,
04:48was also there.
04:50My uncle, uncle,
04:52and the relatives,
04:53their spiritual leaders
04:55used to sit with us,
04:57with my mother.
04:59This was the thing that
05:01made us feel that
05:03our relatives,
05:05the elders,
05:07some are Sufis, some are Dervishes,
05:09some are scholars, some are elders.
05:11But this is Karam.
05:13They also felt that
05:15we are sitting here,
05:17and they will accommodate us well.
05:19See, there is etiquette,
05:21and manners.
05:23There is a way of serving the elders.
05:27It seemed that
05:29they feel more satisfied
05:31and happy here.
05:33That is why
05:35we were honoured.
05:37Although,
05:39it was a completely normal
05:41family,
05:43there was no routine.
05:45It was not like
05:47we are the sons of an Imam,
05:49or we are the sons of a Pir.
05:51It was not like that.
05:53It was a normal family.
05:55My father was a bank officer.
05:59But we were religious.
06:01We were from Nainyal.
06:03Our mother,
06:05her background,
06:07she lived in Bhatigat,
06:09so she was influenced
06:11by the elders, the Sufis,
06:13and the literature of that time.
06:15Religious literature.
06:17She was very
06:19well-educated.
06:21I have heard that
06:23she studied a lot of Persian as well.
06:25Yes, Punjabi literature.
06:27Punjabi is a very rich literature.
06:29It is full of Arabic,
06:31Persian, and other
06:33knowledge.
06:35Our mother,
06:37she knew the language.
06:39She was reading
06:41in conversation as well.
06:43It was not like
06:45giving a lecture.
06:47Even in normal conversations,
06:49she would say,
06:51believe me,
06:53I know Majeeda because of my mother.
06:55Otherwise,
06:57I would not have known her name.
06:59So, this was it.
07:01She got things from her childhood.
07:03The benefit of this
07:05is when a person
07:07realizes that
07:09these karmas happen
07:11and they are rewarded.
07:13Can you tell us about your initial education?
07:15Initially, I was sent to
07:17Nazira Qur'an-e-Pak
07:19for Hifaz.
07:21But there was
07:23a very big institution
07:25very close to Jamia Naeem.
07:27I studied there for some time.
07:29I was very young.
07:31I was four years old.
07:33But I was not feeling well there.
07:35So, I was sent to school.
07:37I did the regular
07:39routine education
07:41in primary school.
07:43During that time,
07:45I read the Qur'an.
07:47I benefited from many elders.
07:49I got a religious environment.
07:51I started reading
07:53from Alam-e-Iqbal.
07:55Alam-e-Iqbal was my school.
07:57We used to compete
07:59and get rewards.
08:01On Alam-e-Iqbal Day,
08:03it was decided
08:05that this child
08:07will read Alam-e-Iqbal.
08:09I remember reading
08:11Alam-e-Iqbal for the first time
08:13in the 6th Jama'at.
08:15I read it for the first time.
08:17It was Alam-e-Iqbal.
08:19After that,
08:21this tradition continued.
08:23On the 9th,
08:25I got regular rewards.
08:27I gained a lot of confidence.
08:29Our school was like this.
08:31There was a magazine
08:33for the students
08:35who were
08:37students of Alam-e-Iqbal.
08:39There were pictures,
08:41rewards and
08:43they were students of Alam-e-Iqbal.
08:45My teacher,
08:47who was a teacher of Islam,
08:49passed away.
08:51I had returned from school
08:53and had completed my matriculation.
08:55I got the news.
08:57He hurt me so much
08:59that I wrote
09:01the first poem for him.
09:03Masha'Allah.
09:05Our principal
09:07of Islamia High School
09:09was called Semahi Vatan.
09:11He wrote the poem
09:13on the title of the magazine.
09:15It was a poem
09:17written by a matric student.
09:19He was not a great poet
09:21and he was not very heavy either.
09:23He wrote the poem
09:25in the memory of the deceased.
09:27A student can have
09:29a lot of emotions.
09:31He was a religious person.
09:33We were influenced by him
09:35even in our childhood.
09:37Masha'Allah.
09:39That was the reason
09:41for me to write the poem.
09:43Maybe there was something inside
09:45and I discovered it.
09:47What was the reason
09:49for your interest
09:51in becoming a religious scholar?
09:53Mahmood bhai,
09:55it didn't seem
09:57that I would become
09:59a religious scholar.
10:01I didn't have a fixed setup.
10:03I was associated with
10:05Naat Sharif.
10:07I was associated with
10:09Anjuman Talba Islam.
10:11I was the general secretary
10:13of Lahore.
10:15The founder of Anjuman Talba Islam
10:17was Haji Hanif Tayyab.
10:19We organized
10:21large gatherings
10:23in Lahore and Punjab
10:25with great enthusiasm.
10:27I saw that
10:29we will continue
10:31this question.
10:33I have seen that
10:35the students who join
10:37such organizations
10:39they never sit
10:41in peace.
10:43It is a movement.
10:45It is a movement
10:47and if it reaches that stage
10:49then the results
10:51are extraordinary.
10:53It is the beginning of your life.
10:55A trend is set.
10:57The Prophet's badge
10:59was placed here.
11:01At that age,
11:03boys were wearing jeans
11:05and t-shirts and you were
11:07wearing a waistcoat
11:09and a round cap.
11:11You are always in the
11:13glory of the scholars.
11:15I can't describe
11:17the atmosphere
11:19of Bargah-e-Ganj-e-Baksh
11:21at that time.
11:23We are arranging
11:25for a gathering
11:27with the elders.
11:29Of course,
11:31some elders were
11:33known by their name
11:35and they were
11:37well known to the elders.
11:39They showed friendship
11:41and unity.
11:43That was the basis
11:45for the organization.
11:47Although I was going to
11:49school, college and
11:51education,
11:53When the relationship of spirituality, where there was spiritual benevolence,
11:56when it was associated with the saints who had come from Afghanistan,
12:00the saints of Sifla Aaliyah, Naqshbandiyah, Mujaddidiyah, Saifiyah,
12:05then it brought about a strange kind of revolution, practical and intellectual.
12:10First it was emotional, it was religious too, but it was the practical that changed the mind.
12:20For example, he used to speak Farsi, so there was a need that Farsi should come.
12:26One could talk to the Sheikh, right?
12:28Not that there is a translation in between.
12:31So my first Sheikh, Hazrat Sayyidi Sufi Kundal Khan Sahib,
12:35he came from Kunduz, Afghanistan.
12:38He was visited and met here in Lahore.
12:41Then Hazrat Akhundzada Saifur Rahman, Mubarak Rahmatullah.
12:45He was also a Naqshbandi before?
12:47Both of them were from the same Silsila.
12:50He was the Khalifa of Hazrat Akhundzada Saifur Rahman, Pir-e-Archi Rahmatullah.
12:55First he met the Khalifa, then he met the Pirs.
12:58Yes, he met the Pirs.
12:59He was their father-in-law and their brother-in-law.
13:01They were very close.
13:03Allah had given them such a spiritual perfection,
13:09that at that age it was felt that these are ordinary people,
13:14these are Sufis, these are some other people.
13:16What we had read in the books,
13:18Tazkirat-ul-Auliyah, when we used to read books from the libraries of the mosque.
13:23So this was for us,
13:27to come to the knowledge of religion practically,
13:31and then to understand Sufism and Tariqat practically.
13:35So I read Farsi first.
13:37I completed my diploma from Khan-e-Farang in Iran for a year.
13:40MashaAllah.
13:41During that time, it was also felt that religious knowledge should also be there.
13:45Of course, they were people of this level on the intellectual level.
13:49The great Aqabir, Jilla Mufti and Sheikh-ul-Qul of Afghanistan
13:53were sitting in the service of the Prophet for two years.
13:56Even the great Aqabir, Jilla Mufti and Sheikh-ul-Qul of Pakistan and India
14:01used to sit there.
14:03Because your intellectual taste was very high.
14:05For this reason, Alhamdulillah,
14:07I came to the religious knowledge and read.
14:09And the benefit of this was that
14:11we got the opportunity to read from our local scholars,
14:14from the scholars of Afghanistan,
14:16and from the scholars of Arabia.
14:18MashaAllah.
14:19So, in which institutions did you study here in Pakistan?
14:23Here, I was studying in routine.
14:25I was doing my graduation here.
14:28So my teacher, Hazrat Allama Abdul Hakeem Sharaf Qadri,
14:31may Allah bless him and grant him peace,
14:33who was also my elder brother.
14:35So because of this, I had a lot of closeness with him.
14:37I started reading from him regularly.
14:40Then Hazrat Mufti Ali Ahmed Sandelvi Sahib,
14:42may Allah bless him and grant him peace,
14:44who was also my elder brother.
14:46I benefited from him.
14:48Then from the Khulafa of the Prophet of Afghanistan.
14:51When I used to go there, I used to read from him.
14:53I read Farsi to Farsi.
14:55I read Arabic to Arabic.
14:57So, the expansion in your temperament,
15:02the expansion in your thinking and knowledge.
15:05Yes, the expansion.
15:06The expansion came from so many scholars.
15:08That is why.
15:09Everyone has a different culture.
15:11Yes.
15:12Then I read Mahmood Bhai.
15:14Masnavi Sharif was the Caliph of Balkh.
15:17And Maulana Rumi was our nation,
15:20our language and our country.
15:22Allah o Akbar.
15:23In their homes, like in our homes,
15:25it is important to have the Holy Qur'an.
15:27There, along with the Holy Qur'an,
15:28Masnavi Sharif's presence was also there.
15:30Alhamdulillah, I read from him.
15:32Allah o Akbar.
15:33So, this is the reason for the expansion,
15:36the expansion in your thinking,
15:38in your thinking, in your actions.
15:39And the blessings that the scholars have bestowed
15:41are a bonus.
15:42Then in Riyadh-ul-Jannah,
15:44in the Bukhari Sharif tour,
15:45I had the opportunity to sit with the blessings of my Ustads.
15:48Allah o Akbar.
15:49And later I found out that
15:50that was the last tour and it was light.
15:52The following year,
15:53I was restricted in Riyadh-ul-Jannah.
15:55Which year is this?
15:56This is probably 2001.
15:58Mashallah.
15:59So, it was the first and the second visit.
16:01Alhamdulillah.
16:02So, I also understood that
16:03this is such an honour for me.
16:05See, dear viewers,
16:06as I said earlier,
16:07the people we see in the context of your generosity,
16:12we try to invite them.
16:15Now see,
16:16how the generosity of the government of Madinah
16:18was bestowed upon you.
16:19In that, probably Hazrat Allama Alvi Maliki was also alive.
16:22He was alive.
16:23He was absolutely alive.
16:24And this was the circle of Sheikh Saleh Mehdar.
16:27In Riyadh-ul-Jannah of Bukhari Sharif.
16:29And you were also kind to him.
16:31I am so happy to hear this.
16:33See, it was the 26th of Ramadhan.
16:36Allah o Akbar.
16:37And we had to spend the Maghrib from Asr,
16:40only then we could sit in the circle.
16:42And the circle was Maghrib from Asr.
16:44That is, it was supposed to end before Iftaar.
16:46Bukhari Sharif was being read.
16:48One by one,
16:49three by three people were reading.
16:52They were all Shuyukhs.
16:54And Sheikhs were sitting and reading in front of them.
16:56In this way, permission is also given.
16:58Now, sitting in Riyadh-ul-Jannah and reading Bukhari,
17:01reciting the sayings of Haqq-e-Kareem,
17:04as if you are in the court of the Prophet Muhammad.
17:07So, this is the pinnacle of honor and kindness.
17:11Here is Mimbar-e-Rasool.
17:13Yes.
17:14Here is Raza-e-Pak, Jali-e-Mubarak,
17:16Haqq-e-Kareem, Jalwa-e-Furoz.
17:19Here is the circle.
17:20Allah o Akbar.
17:21And Bukhari Sharif.
17:22Ladies and gentlemen,
17:23If you could just go into the picture,
17:26that there is the Mimbar of the Prophet,
17:28the Raza of the Prophet,
17:29Riyadh-ul-Jannah,
17:30the Hadiths of the Prophet.
17:32There is the rain of the Prophet,
17:34the Raza of the Prophet,
17:35Riyadh-ul-Jannah,
17:36the rain of the Anwar,
17:37and the 70,000 angels.
17:38Subhan Allah.
17:39Subhan Allah.
17:40Subhan Allah.
17:41There are 70,000 angels.
17:42Then, the one who made me blush,
17:44my cheeks stood up.
17:46My wife was also in a good condition.
17:48I did not know which Hadith was going to be recited.
17:51But it was going on.
17:52It was her turn to recite the Hadith.
17:54Now, when it was my turn,
17:56the Hadith of love came.
17:58Allah o Akbar.
17:59It came, it came.
18:00I thought that today,
18:01I have got the stamp.
18:06That day,
18:07I saw it with my own eyes.
18:10I saw it all with my own eyes.
18:12I appreciated that state and condition.
18:17Now, the 27th Shab is about to start.
18:21Wow.
18:22This was the 26th Raza.
18:24Iftar was going on.
18:25We were in Riyadh-ul-Jannah.
18:27And now,
18:28the 27th Shab,
18:29Laylat-ul-Qadr,
18:30was also about to start.
18:32We were in the middle of it.
18:35Allah Allah.
18:36Yes.
18:37In the middle of it.
18:38Now, when it was my turn to recite the Hadith,
18:40when it was my turn,
18:41they gave me the stamp.
18:43So, the Hadith of love of
18:45Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
18:48in which he says that
18:49an Arab came and asked,
18:51Matassa ata ya Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
18:54When will the Qiyamah come?
18:56So, Rahmat-e-Alam Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
18:58Ba'adatta lahaa.
19:00What preparations have you made for it?
19:03So, he said,
19:04My Master,
19:05Ya Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
19:07Neither did I offer many prayers
19:09nor did I fast much.
19:10But,
19:11Walakin inni uhibbu Allah wa Rasool.
19:14I love Allah and His Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
19:17So, Rahmat-e-Alam Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
19:19Anta ma'a man ahbabta.
19:21He will be with the one whom he loves.
19:24SubhanAllah.
19:25Syed Anas bin Malik R.A. says,
19:27On that day,
19:28when this conversation was taking place,
19:30all of us companions were so happy
19:32that we had never been so happy before.
19:35So, he made his presence known
19:37and said,
19:39You should be a witness
19:41wa uhibbu Allah wa Rasoolahu
19:43wa uhibbu Aba Bakrin wa Umar R.A.
19:45Syed Anas bin Malik R.A. said,
19:47I say the same thing
19:49that the Arab said.
19:51Huzoor,
19:52I also love Allah,
19:53His Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
19:55Sheikhs of Karim,
19:56Siddiq, Akbar,
19:57and Farooq Aazam R.A.
19:59Now,
20:00I thought that this hadith
20:01was about me.
20:02But,
20:03this is not a coincidence.
20:04This is a special kindness
20:06and special favor.
20:08So,
20:09I used to experience
20:11such situations.
20:13Even there,
20:14and even after coming here,
20:16and serving the elders,
20:18and the sheikhs.
20:20And,
20:21as a result of this,
20:22I started paying attention
20:23towards this seriously.
20:25It has become
20:26a habit of mine
20:27to say it
20:28and not to leave it.
20:29Qaalallahu Qaal Rasool Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
20:31Qaalallahu Qaal Rasool Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
20:33And,
20:34living with these elders
20:35at a young age,
20:36has been a great honor for me.
20:38Whoever has this,
20:39should consider it
20:40a great honor.
20:42I have become friends
20:43with the elders at a young age.
20:44So,
20:45you gained knowledge
20:46in Pakistan as well.
20:47And,
20:48while living in Pakistan,
20:49especially,
20:50you read from some Arab countries,
20:51from the sheikhs of Afghanistan,
20:52and then from the Arab Shuyuk.
20:54And,
20:55you read from Maulana Rumi,
20:56who was related to Balkh.
20:58Yes,
20:59Maulana Rumi was called
21:00Turkman.
21:01He was a Turk.
21:02You read from him directly.
21:03I read from him.
21:04I read from Maktubad.
21:05I read from Dars Masnavi.
21:06Then,
21:07Alhamdulillah,
21:08you gained knowledge
21:09in Madinatul Munawwara.
21:10And,
21:11the blessings that you told us,
21:12I don't have words
21:13to describe
21:14my condition at the moment.
21:15You went to so many places
21:16to learn knowledge.
21:17Alhamdulillah.
21:18And,
21:19in Bahrain,
21:20Sheikh Rashid Al Muraikhi,
21:21Yes.
21:22MashaAllah,
21:23he is one of the
21:24oldest elders.
21:25He must be
21:26more than 90 years old.
21:27I am honored by him as well.
21:28I am honored by him as well
21:29for the Khilafat,
21:30for the permission.
21:31He has given
21:32all his knowledge
21:33to the elders.
21:34And,
21:35he has given me
21:36the permission
21:37to recite.
21:38Alhamdulillah,
21:39with many other qualities.
21:40I am honored by him.
21:41Alhamdulillah.
21:42The knowledge
21:43that you gained,
21:44then,
21:45Allah the Almighty
21:46gave you
21:47a condition.
21:48Then,
21:49the time came
21:50to transfer it
21:51to people.
21:52The time came
21:53for their education
21:54and training.
21:55So,
21:56you are working
21:57here as well,
21:58MashaAllah.
21:59You have institutions
22:00here as well.
22:01And,
22:02outside Pakistan,
22:03where were
22:04you trained?
22:05In UAE.
22:06We have friends
22:07there.
22:08There are gatherings
22:09and circles.
22:10We have trained them.
22:11Alhamdulillah.
22:12And,
22:13in Bahrain,
22:14MashaAllah.
22:15We have friends
22:16there as well.
22:17We have circles.
22:18We have Shirkar.
22:19MashaAllah.
22:20We have friends.
22:21We have people of love.
22:22And,
22:23you had to go
22:24to Saudi Arabia.
22:25You had to go
22:26to Syria.
22:27MashaAllah.
22:28Shukr,
22:29Alhamdulillah.
22:30You had to go
22:31to India.
22:32MashaAllah.
22:33So,
22:34we have people
22:35of love.
22:36MashaAllah.
22:37This is the
22:38blessing of knowledge.
22:39And,
22:40believe me,
22:41when we started
22:42Kashf-ul-Mahjoob
22:43in America,
22:44there were women
22:45who came here
22:46from America.
22:47And,
22:48they told us
22:49that they keep
22:50books in front of
22:51their houses.
22:52And,
22:53there was one
22:54book.
22:55Now,
22:56they are
22:57taking it
22:58from here.
22:59Although,
23:00their family
23:01background,
23:02they are
23:03going from
23:04Lahore to
23:05America.
23:06And,
23:07they are working.
23:08Alhamdulillah.
23:09Then,
23:10we got
23:11the platform
23:12of QTV.
23:13More things
23:14opened up
23:15than this.
23:16Alhamdulillah.
23:17Such things
23:18opened up
23:19that we
23:20had no idea
23:21about.
23:22I had no idea
23:23at all.
23:24But,
23:25then we realized
23:26that we
23:27got such
23:28a big platform.
23:29And,
23:30the range
23:31of people
23:32came to us
23:33in such a way
23:34that the people
23:35and people of
23:36Khawass
23:37could benefit
23:38equally.
23:39And,
23:40Alhamdulillah,
23:41we got
23:42the proofs
23:43and the
23:44revelations.
23:45Recently,
23:46when Qari Yunus
23:47came from
23:48UK,
23:49he told us
23:50that the
23:51scholars there
23:52are also
23:53people.
23:54The scholars
23:55were also
23:56very happy
23:57and they
23:58expressed
23:59a lot of
24:00respect for
24:01him.
24:02It is obvious
24:03that we
24:04are all
24:05humans.
24:06No matter
24:07how famous
24:08we become,
24:09people value
24:10our religious
24:11reasons and
24:12love us.
24:13Keeping
24:14all these
24:15things in
24:16mind,
24:17a religious
24:18scholar,
24:19especially,
24:20has to
24:21avoid a
24:22lot of
24:23things.
24:24A person
24:25also
24:26avoids
24:27a lot of
24:28permissible
24:29things.
24:30So,
24:31is it
24:32because
24:33of our
24:34culture?
24:35Yes,
24:36everyone
24:37has their
24:38own
24:39conditions.
24:40Some
24:41do it
24:42out of
24:43compulsion.
24:44Some
24:45do it
24:46out of
24:47desire.
24:48It is
24:49also
24:50in our
24:51nature
24:52that we
24:53avoid
24:54certain
24:55things.
24:56When
24:57we
24:58do
24:59it out
25:00of
25:01desire,
25:02it
25:03alerts us
25:04that we
25:05should
25:06be careful.
25:07Personally,
25:08self-security
25:09helps a
25:10person
25:11spiritually.
25:12Some
25:13people
25:14feel that
25:15their position
25:16and position
25:17is such
25:18that they
25:19should
25:20keep their
25:21limitations
25:22and
25:23limitations
25:24in mind.
25:25Some
25:26people
25:27do
25:29it
25:30out of
25:31desire.
25:32Some
25:33people
25:34do it
25:35out of
25:36passion.
25:37Some
25:38people
25:39do it
25:40out of
25:41desire.
25:42Some
25:43people
25:44do it
25:45out of
25:46self-
25:47security.
25:48Some
25:49people
25:50do it
25:51out of
25:52self-
25:53pride.
25:54They
25:55Your Ph.D.
25:57My Ph.D. is in the field of Hadith and Naat.
26:05We would like to congratulate you on completing your Ph.D.
26:11Alhamdulillah.
26:12Thank you very much.
26:15I am happy to hear this.
26:16What is your experience of writing?
26:19I have had this experience from the beginning.
26:21Because I had a connection with poetry and literature.
26:23In 1995, I published a Persian collection of Manakib.
26:28I wrote it for my elders.
26:30So, the Persian language has such a strong taste.
26:33Yes, Alhamdulillah.
26:34I got used to it.
26:35I used to interact with them like a native speaker.
26:39They were very happy and loved it.
26:41Even now, my work is being read in Afghanistan and Iran.
26:44Alhamdulillah.
26:45It is a great joy.
26:46Alhamdulillah
26:47It is a great pleasure when people read it in such a state.
26:51My friends tell me this.
26:53Because of this, I continued to write and write.
26:56The result was a collection of Urdu.
26:59Similarly, I compiled a collection of Arbaeen.
27:03Man does not know many things about himself.
27:07He learns from others.
27:08One of my elders was Allama Muhammad Alam Muftari Haq Sahib.
27:13He was a great researcher.
27:15He had his own library.
27:17One day, I was sitting with him.
27:19There was a great magazine from Fikro Nazar Islamabad.
27:25It is a great research magazine.
27:27Fikro Nazar is an Islamic research institute.
27:30An article was published in it.
27:32He showed it to me.
27:34He said, look at this.
27:36This great professor has written this article.
27:40If there is any work on Hadith in Persian,
27:47He has written that after Maulana Jami Rahmatullah's Arbaeen,
27:53There is an Arbaeen in the subcontinent.
27:57It is called Arbaeen-e-Saifi.
27:59It is written by a scholar named Muhammad Shehzad Mujaddi.
28:04Alhamdulillah
28:05It is a translation of 40 Hadith in Persian.
28:08Mashallah
28:09It was not in my knowledge.
28:11I got to know from there that such a great researcher has worked on it.
28:16I went to Karachi.
28:20I remember it was in 1997-98.
28:23Mufti Jamil Ahmed Naeemi Sahib,
28:25Rahmatullah-e-Jamia Naeemia
28:27He used to be very kind.
28:29Hazrat Hakim-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat,
28:31Hakeem Muhammad Musa,
28:33He was close to our house.
28:35He was our source of education.
28:38Everyone knows that Hakeem Muhammad Musa was the founder of Markaz-e-Majlis-e-Raza.
28:45He encouraged people to read and write.
28:47Professor Dr. Masood Ahmed Sahib,
28:49Or our teacher Hazrat Allama Ibn-e-Hakeem Sharaf Qadri.
28:53These people did the work at that time.
28:56I remember that Mufti Sahib said in Arabic,
28:59Taufatul Marhuba Fi Afdaliyat-e-Dua-e-Baad-al-Maktuba
29:03Hazrat-e-Makhdoom Hashim Sindhi Rahmatullah-e-Alaih
29:07That book was in Arabic.
29:09He gave me a few copies.
29:11He gave me ten copies.
29:13He gave them to Ustads, Kibla Sharaf Sahib,
29:15Mufti Muhammad Khan Qadri Sahib.
29:17Those who knew that I was related to them.
29:19Was it written or edited?
29:21It was edited.
29:23It was printed.
29:25Mufti Syed Shujaat Ali Qadri Sahib edited it.
29:27When I brought it to them,
29:29One of them said,
29:31It is for you.
29:33Present the rest of the Ulema to me.
29:35When I presented it to the Ulema,
29:37Mufti Sahib said,
29:39Translate it.
29:41At that time,
29:43I had done a few Persian translations.
29:45I did not have much experience in Arabic translation.
29:47He encouraged me.
29:49Ustads also said,
29:51That is fine.
29:53I did my first translation.
29:55I remember,
29:57From Hyderabad, Sindh,
29:59Dr. Nabi Bakhsh Baloch Sahib,
30:01He was a great Ustads.
30:03He also saw that book.
30:05He saw my translation.
30:07He wrote a letter to me.
30:09He said,
30:11You have done a great job.
30:13This journey of
30:15Translation,
30:17Editing,
30:19Research,
30:21Translation,
30:23In my PhD,
30:25In Urdu Poetry,
30:27I have done a research on
30:29Hadith and Naat.
30:33I want to ask you a question.
30:35You have said a lot of Naat.
30:37Yes.
30:39When Naat is said,
30:41When we sit down to write it,
30:43Does it give you a feeling?
30:45Do the words give you a feeling?
30:47Do they become a part of the poem?
30:49How does it happen?
30:51When I sit down,
30:53I take an empty bowl of thought.
30:57When I sit down,
30:59I take an empty bowl of thought.
31:01From the unseen,
31:03The signs of Naat come.
31:05It happens like this too.
31:07When Naat descends on Karam,
31:09When he smiles,
31:11Naat descends.
31:13Naat is a gift.
31:15It comes from the unseen.
31:17What is the time when
31:19Naat descends on Karam?
31:21For some, there is a time.
31:23For some, there is no time.
31:25For Karam, there is no time.
31:27Believe me,
31:29I have done Naat in my dreams too.
31:31I have written it in the morning.
31:33I am telling you for the first time.
31:35I cannot tell this to anyone.
31:37It is my personal experience.
31:39It happened like this.
31:41I went to bed.
31:43Now, because it is the convenience
31:45of a mobile phone,
31:47there are many Naats
31:49which are not written on paper.
31:51They are all composed on a mobile phone.
31:53You have recorded audio.
31:55I don't do audio.
31:57You cannot do poetry or audio.
31:59There is a slight difference
32:01between poetry and audio.
32:03You can do the audio
32:05that you already know.
32:07The gift that comes
32:09one word at a time,
32:11what do you call it?
32:13Who is the founder of poetry?
32:15Our teacher was
32:17Professor Saifullah Khalid Sahib.
32:19We used to sit with him in college.
32:21He was a young writer.
32:23He was a poet of Urdu.
32:25Yes, he was a poet of Urdu.
32:27In Farsi,
32:29when he was related to our elders,
32:31Maulana Rum Rahmatullah Alai
32:33and Maulana Jammi,
32:35when he read them,
32:37he was blessed.
32:39At the time of Maulana Jammi,
32:41I said Manqabat at the age of 20
32:43and it is accepted all over the world.
32:51This is Maulana Jammi's land.
32:53But it is the behavior of the scholars.
32:55At that time,
32:57I did not even know Farsi
32:59when I wrote Manqabat.
33:01This is the behavior of the scholars.
33:03They say that
33:05if a person is from any field,
33:07if he is the best doctor in the world
33:09or the best scholar,
33:11and the wife wants her husband,
33:13she does not say that
33:15her husband is a scholar.
33:17Even at home,
33:19there is always a discussion
33:21about sex.
33:23Is it halal or haram?
33:25No, it is not like that.
33:27Do you have fun with your family?
33:29No, not at all.
33:31We have a lot of love,
33:33friendship and conversation.
33:35Of course,
33:37this is the meaning of a home.
33:39You are not sitting in a classroom.
33:41If you read the family life
33:43of the Prophet's family,
33:45then it seems
33:47that we are all worshipping.
33:49If you look at
33:51Seerat-e-Tayyaba
33:53and Sunnat-e-Nabwi,
33:55then we have actually seen
33:57the lives of our scholars
33:59with their children
34:01and their families.
34:03You get a lot of guidance from that.
34:05If you look at Seerat-e-Tayyaba,
34:07then you can see
34:09that you will be rewarded.
34:11Most of the time,
34:13people say that scholars
34:15have an arrogant
34:17temperament
34:19and are angry.
34:21When they talk,
34:23they feel scared.
34:25What are the reasons for this?
34:27Why?
34:29Of course, you understand
34:31every person's temperament.
34:33Not only scholars,
34:35but all people have
34:37an arrogant temperament.
34:39However,
34:41there is a big secret
34:43in this.
34:45When knowledge
34:47is in its real shape,
34:49in its true state,
34:51in the state of light,
34:53then it has
34:55its own glory
34:57and glory.
34:59Because it is one of the
35:01attributes of God.
35:03We have seen
35:05that a person
35:07with an arrogant temperament
35:09is rewarded
35:11with glory
35:13due to the greatness
35:15of God's knowledge.
35:17And people with
35:19an arrogant temperament
35:21are rewarded
35:23with glory
35:25due to God's knowledge.
35:27And people with
35:29an arrogant temperament
35:31are rewarded
35:33with glory
35:35due to God's knowledge.
35:37There are many people
35:39who are overpowered
35:41by their nature
35:43despite their knowledge.
35:45And there are
35:47some people
35:49who are overpowered
35:51by Shariah.
35:53They are not in their control.
35:55Shariah always
35:57takes precedence.
35:59They are not
36:01in their control.
36:03They are not
36:05in their control.
36:07And the common man
36:09does not understand this.
36:11So, if you consider
36:13this difference,
36:15then you should give
36:17a little bit of permission
36:19to a religious scholar
36:21because he is doing
36:23an extraordinary duty.
36:25And for this,
36:27he needs courage
36:29and patience.
36:31And he is tolerating
36:33the trust that
36:35the Lord of the Universe
36:37has given him.
36:39You should not take
