00:00Football! Football Friday. Football Friday. We actually had football on Friday. And the
00:08game last night was good. Was a hell of a way to start the season. That was a good game,
00:13man. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thoroughly. 12 minutes. And the last 12 minutes were pretty
00:20exciting. Oh, yeah. I mean, the whole the whole thing was very enjoyable. It was great
00:25to have it. Other than the bum-ass refs who were like, oh my god. I was trying to explain
00:33to Tobin how I don't understand anybody who understands football would call it that. And
00:44here's why. There is a difference between being in a three-point stance and being in
00:51a two-point stance. Yep. So when you're in a three-point stance, your head is somewhere around
00:59your feet. Right. So you got the center. You got the two guards. They are, you know, the guards
01:09are a little bit back, you know, from the center. But they all look in unison. Because they're all
01:17in the same stance. When you look at the tackles, if you look at their feet, their feet are lined
01:24up with everybody else. But because they're in a position where they have to pass protect,
01:32most of their weight in their upper body is a little bit farther back. And so I don't understand
01:39why they kept calling, you know, illegal formation, when the simple fact is they're
01:45lined up differently or in a different stance or position. And that automatically is going to make
01:53it look like the tackles are back. If everybody was in a two-point stance, they would look perfect.
02:01Yeah. It was a classic, like overkill from the refs to say, hey, we're really paying attention
02:05to something like, yeah, I know that's the thing that people got the pain in the ass with because
02:09of the step back, people got mad at that getting called, but like, man, we need some football
02:16going. You're ruining football. Now, I will say this. And there is a rule in football.
02:28Example, what they're going to start calling on the Dolphins. When they do that motion,
02:36it looks like a Canadian football. You're technically not supposed to start forward
02:44until a ball is snapped. And what teams will do is you keep doing it until they call it,
02:53or give you a warning. And they never did. So it got more and more extreme.
02:59Right. The same thing goes for this, but I do think that they will look at film and go,
03:08wow, this, you know, too much, too much, too much, too much because, and keep in mind
03:17when they called it two or three times, the Ravens still scored. Yeah, I know it was,
03:22it was super crazy, but they would have scored quicker because they had a pass interference.
03:27Definitely. And by the way, Holy smokes that worthy. Yeah. He's fast. Hold on one second
03:34here. Let's uh, we're, we're, we're, we're climbing all over the place. I do have to get
03:38this in because our headlines are brought to you by Doral Hyundai at Doral Hyundai choose from over
03:431300 new Hyundai models in inventory, like the Tucson, the Sonata, the Palisade. Remember when
03:49it comes to Hyundai, the great deals are at Doral Hyundai. Don't forget the Santa Fe.
03:55Well, that's not in the read. The, uh, you don't have to list every Hyundai name.
04:01I'm just helping out. I'm just giving them the assist. The final score last night chiefs
04:082720 over the Ravens. It was a toe, a toe at the end toe. Isaiah likely had the touchdown.
04:17And then, uh, they said they were going to go for two. And that was like, Oh,
04:22Harbaugh plays for keeps. I like it, but didn't matter. Overturned chiefs want to know.
04:28And the, uh, final numbers from last night for all you fantasy buffs out there,
04:34Lamar Jackson, 273 yards, passing one touchdown, 122 yards rushing.
04:42Hmm. He though missed, uh, say flowers wide, wide open, wide open. And honestly, likely was,
04:52uh, that play before. I mean, it was a hard throw, but he also had some separation on that corner.
04:58Hey, did you hear the explanation? Uh, he was thrown it to somebody else.
05:05He wasn't when he missed him. Yeah. Yeah. He didn't even see him.
05:09Right. He said he was throwing it to somebody else. Well, he missed that guy too.
05:15You should have thrown it to the guy wide open. But I think, you know,
05:21one of the things that I appreciate about football is everybody has different skill sets. Right.
05:29And the more that you see a quarterback play in his way, you can't expect them
05:38to, you know, be something else. So for example, Lamar Jackson is not as accurate as Tua,
05:48but Tua can't run like Lamar. Nobody can. So if Tua had that throw, he probably would have made
05:54that throw, but he wouldn't have had 112 yards rushing, 122 yards rushing. And that's kind of,
06:01so you have all these different versions of the same quarterback. You got to kind of
06:06accept what that guy is and understand that, Hey, Lamar Jackson, Tua might have 70% completion.
06:15Lamar Jackson might be 60 to 65, but he's going to give you 122 yards. So we can't sit here and go,
06:24Oh, he's a bum. He missed that wide open guy because that's not, you know, that's not really
06:32a skill set. Uh, your final receiving numbers for the Ravens last night, Isaiah, likely nine catches
06:38111 yards. A lot of fancy owners pissed that they did not throw the ball to Mark Andrews.
06:43Well, two catches 14 yards. I mean, that one catch he had, he just like dropped to the ground.
06:49It was like a third and four and he just dropped to the ground. I got to tell you
06:54that lively or likely. Yeah. Yeah. That little move that he made on the touchdown.
07:02Uh, on the Kansas city side, Patrick, my homes, 20 of 28, 291 yards, one TD,
07:11one pick great pay by a Roquan Smith. And then, uh, all the buzz yesterday, Xavier worthy. He
07:19touched them all three times at two touchdowns. When he ran that reverse, I'm like, is he the
07:24only one moving in real people's speed? Because it just seemed like, okay, he might get five,
07:31six yards here. And I'm like, oh my goodness. They're not even close.
07:35I gave, I told you guys, if they would have started with the ball first, I would have turned
07:39off my television. They're lucky. The Ravens scored first. Cause I was ready to turn off my
07:43television immediately. I was like, are you kidding me? Who, who let, how did the bills
07:48like if you're the bills? All right. You drafted. Yeah. Yes. One. And two,
07:54if you see caller ID, Kansas city, you know, hang up, hang up. Don't answer that call.
08:02Why did you do that? Buffalo? Why would you give them the fastest man in the world?
08:08Oh my goodness. He is so fast. Not to mention. Oh, rice had himself a day.
08:15Sure. Day seven catches 103 yards for Rasheed rice.
08:19Woo. I want to make a run joke, but I'm not gonna. Yeah. Um, so there you go. Kansas city
08:29want to know they win on their, uh, their, you know, it was scary.
08:35They look better than they've looked early in the season in the last three years.
08:39What are we making? What do we make? What do we make? I'm furious that they have this new
08:44weapon to play with rice is all good to go. And you know, Travis is like, whatever, you know,
08:52doesn't look like there's too much struggling early in the season for the two time Superbowl
08:58to back the backers. Travis Kelsey's just, you know, he showed up for that one amazing
09:03Mahomes throw where my home was getting chased by the entire Ravens. Anyone
09:08knew Travis lifted down field. Perfect. Perfect throw right on the money to Travis. Kelsey.
09:18Like, you know, you have a very similar team, right? Huh? You know, you have a very similar
09:24team, right? Not with the accolades though, dude, not with the accolades. But what I'm saying is
09:29you have that explosive, you know, offense also. I know. I know, but I will say this,
09:38I didn't think it was possible. Chris Jones is a problem.
09:47Do you think in that media moment where Lamar Jackson regretted losing all that weight
09:50when Chris Jones had him like by the, by the undertaker choke throw.
09:57Like I'm just like, and they kept showing one guy, two guys, it didn't matter. I don't look
10:03so much bigger than everybody. I don't like that. He has that like soft, uh, Tyson voice either.
10:09You know, like I wish he sounded like Calais Campbell. No, he doesn't sound menacing,
10:14but you imagine like him on customer service. They're like, listen to this pipsqueak.
10:18Yeah. He's like, well, why don't you come on down and we'll discuss it.
10:26Wouldn't treat that telemarketer the way he treated that one yesterday after work.
10:31He just did that for sport. He was like rolling down. Right. But you know what the thing was,
10:36is the lady was giving him back. Oh, sir. You, you don't have to talk like that to people.
10:41You bothered me. Right. That's what I'm saying.
