Rishi Panchami Kyu Manayi Jati Hai 2024: ऋषि पंचमी में कौन से भगवान की पूजा की जाती है, सप्तऋषि कौन?

भाद्रपद माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि यानी ऋषि पंचमी का पर्व इस वर्ष 7 सितंबर, रविवार को मनाया जाएगा। मान्यता है कि जो कोई भी व्यक्ति इस दिन ऋषि-मुनियों का स्मरण कर उनका पूजन करता है वह सभी प्रकार के पापों से मुक्त होकर निर्मल हो जाता है। यह दिन हमारे पौराणिक ऋषि-मुनि वशिष्ठ, कश्यप, विश्वामित्र, अत्रि, जमदग्नि, गौतम और भारद्वाज इन सात ऋषियों के पूजन के लिए खास माना गया है। ऋषि पंचमी पर महिलाएं गंगा स्नान करें तो इसका फल कई गुना बढ़ जाता है। ब्रह्म पुराण के अनुसार इस दिन चारों वर्ण की स्त्रियों को यह व्रत करना चाहिए। यह व्रत शरीर के द्वारा अशौचावस्था में किए गए स्पर्श तथा अन्य पापों के प्रायश्चित के रूप में किया जाता है। स्त्रियों से जाने-अनजाने में रजस्वला अवस्था में पूजा, घर के कार्य, पति को स्पर्श आदि हो जाता है तो इस व्रत से उनके पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

The festival of Rishi Panchami, the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month, will be celebrated on Sunday, September 7 this year. It is believed that whoever remembers and worships the sages and saints on this day, becomes pure and free from all kinds of sins. This day is considered special for the worship of our seven mythological sages - Vashistha, Kashyap, Vishwamitra, Atri, Jamadagni, Gautam and Bhardwaj. If women take a bath in the Ganga on Rishi Panchami, its benefits increase manifold. According to Brahma Purana, women of all four castes should observe this fast on this day. This fast is observed as a way of atonement for the sins committed by the body in an impure state. If women knowingly or unknowingly perform worship, household chores, touch their husbands, etc. during menstruation, then their sins are destroyed by this fast.
