00:00What about working with Margaret Qualley?
00:01Had you known her before you did this film?
00:03And how did you kind of figure out that relationship too?
00:07You know, we hadn't ever met before,
00:09but interestingly, I felt,
00:12I think we both felt like we did know each other
00:15from the moment that we met.
00:16I mean, we had these indirect connections.
00:20Obviously, years and years ago,
00:22I had worked and knew her mother.
00:24She knew my daughters.
00:26And I think that we have some shared qualities.
00:31I think that we both are willing to do roles
00:34where you kind of get a little dirty.
00:37And I think with very little conversation or dialogue
00:44that we just connected.
00:47And I think it was a really crucial and important part
00:51of the whole process,
00:52because it was really, you know,
00:54physically demanding for both of us.
00:56And, you know, we were there all in five and a half months
01:01working on this.
01:02And, but from the moment that I heard
01:06that that's who Qualley was interested in casting,
01:09I was already excited because I knew
01:13that she was moving towards a real depth
01:17because Margaret is a wonderful actor
01:20who always brings kind of deep kind of emotion
01:26and emotional value, interest, intrigue.
01:28So yeah, we got on, I would say like a house on fire.
