00:00More than 10,000 and 400 people participated in the first day of the 2024 Bar Examinations.

00:12Well-wishers happily welcomed the Bar Examinees who will enter UPD Liman in Quezon City,

00:18as well as in San Beda University and University of Santo Tomas,

00:23which is one of the 13 local testing centers in the country for the 2024 Bar Exams.

00:30According to Associate Justice Mario Lopez, Chairman of the 2024 Bar Examinations,

00:35of the more than 12,000 applicants, 10,483 will continue to take the bar exam today.

00:42This is higher than the 10,400 Bar Examinees on Day 1 of the 2023 Bar Exams.

00:48Of course, we are a little bit higher because it was a carryover of those who did not make it

00:57or failed in the previous bar exam.

01:00The exam was held in a digital format, but the Supreme Court assured that the system was safe from fraud.

01:06There are also multiple examiners for each subject, so the checking will be faster.

01:11Because of this, the Supreme Court expects that the results of the bar exam will be released in December.

01:17On January 24, 2025, the Bar Passers will take an oath.

01:21According to Associate Justice Lopez of the Bar Takers,

01:30There is no good health without good mental health.

01:35We need that.

01:36There are still exams on September 11 and 15,

01:39but there are contingency plans if the weather gets worse on those days.
