00:00Due to the increasing number of dengue cases, the State of Calamity has declared Bohol and Bukidnon.

00:06In addition to the number of cases of dengue in other provinces, Jonathan Agdal has the first news.

00:17From the sides of the houses, plants, to the places where mosquito eggs can be found,

00:25It is a countermeasure against dengue by the local governments.

00:28In Cebu City, according to the City Health Department,

00:31there are 597 dengue cases from January to the first week of September.

00:35Eight of these have recovered.

00:37Because of this, the Cebu City Health Department has recommended

00:40that the city should be under the State of Public Health Emergency.

00:43Aside from fogging, treated nets have also been distributed against mosquitoes in schools.

00:48In Aklan, there are more than 200 new cases of dengue.

00:51As you know, from August 25 to 31, there are the most cases in Malay.

00:56Since January, there are more than 2,000 patients and four of them have recovered.

01:01In Negros Occidental, more than 3,000 cases of dengue were reported from January to August this year.

01:07That's more than 200% of the reported cases in both months of 2023.

01:18There are more than 5,000 cases of dengue from January to August 24 this year.

01:40There are more than 5,000 cases in two cities and 11 towns.

01:4417 have recovered based on the Dengue Outbreak Investigation Report of the province.
