Transcript
00:00Hello it's Richard Hunt and I'm at the new Tai Pen noodle bar which is just
00:04opened on Deansgate in Blackpool. It's a new business but what the owners say,
00:10Eunice who runs the place, says that rather than being a tourist led eatery
00:17where people who are visiting can come, she's targeting on local people, business
00:22people, people in the offices, people nearby, so it's very much a community run
00:28takeaway which is going to be serving a number of different dishes. There'll be
00:33lunch boxes which is what they seem to be doing, chicken fried noodle, chicken
00:38fried rice at five pounds a box, quite reasonable and they're hoping to expand
00:43the menu in in the next few weeks and months ahead. You've got the bar and there's
00:50also, apart from it being a takeaway, there is this sit-in aspect. They've got
00:55two tables, four seats for people who want to be doing that and the place is
01:01going to be open five days a week and it's now open so if you fancy noodles,
01:10some Asian cuisine and you're in the vicinity around Blackpool town centre
01:14and you're trying a new place, maybe if you haven't heard of this place, it's
01:18it's another place to try with a pleasure of Asia. So it's the Tai Pen
01:23Noodle Bar and Deansgate Blackpool, something added to the local eatery scene
